Looks like Cucurella deal could be off. United want to option to end loan in January, Chelsea don't. United are now looking at Reguilon from Spurs.

Personally I'd rather stick with what we've got than Reguilon. He can't even get close to the spurs team. A big no from me.

Many players go to Spurs and don't keep their form going. Maybe that's a Spurs issue. We can only judge him on his performances at this club.

If it means Reguilon is coming in because we also have the flexibility to get Amrabat too, I'm fine with that. Reguilon and Amrabat is much better than Cucurella on his own.

The arrogance of this club is so frequently astonishing.

They know a player can't appear for 3 clubs in a season, something Chelsea were also aware of - hence the appearance against AFC Wimbledon.
They don't yet know whether or not Shaw will return and hit the ground running, irrespective of when he returns.
The very same applies to Malacia.
They clearly lack the faith in Fernandez.
Yet somehow, there's an absolute moron in a suit somewhere who thinks United are in any position of strength when negotiating what is essentially an unanticipated transfer dictated simply by dire need with little time.

Yet another glaring example of just how thoroughly incompetent some people at the club are.

Agreed. Ignoring everything else, I find it pretty wild that we expected the lad to just up sticks and move his family to Manchester just for four months of football and seemingly no chance of a permanent move. It’s little wonder that he said no.

Reguilon is poor. Dalot will be first choice LB until Shaw returns, whereas Cucurella would have walked into our side. Depressing.

Spurs is pretty stocked in that position. Idogie, Perisic and Sessegnon.

Reguilon has been disappointing for Spurs but he was scouted for Utd before signing for them.

Give the lad a chance.

Underwhelming to say the least. Cucurella showed talent within our league reguilon has bern average at best. Altho seeing jaime redknap quizzing keane over it might be worth it after what keane said a while back.
