Superb post sir! Thank you for renewing my faith that this club still has some decent supporters. In fact most on here have been dignified irrespective
of the side of the divide they represented. can't say that about other forums. Moyes' statement just shows who is the better man. Thank you David! Deeps.

He wouldn't have made it past xmas with those clubs. This is a new time and different age, those days of a manager staying 5 yrs at the same club are long gone. Prior to SAF, what was the longest tenure of a manager at United? What is the average tenure of a manager at United if you discard SAF? There is no nice way to fire somebody, I have been in the position to fire and be fired in my profession. Truthfully, it was easier to be fired. The mistake was in hiring Moyes, clearly over his head, but a good man. These things happen, better to do it now then continue on this path.

Top, sincere post.
The belligerence of the players is disgusting.
There is no question David Moyes is a good man. I will not lie, I wasn't his greatest fan as our manager but his sacking is indicative of a much wider issue at United.
I expect more revelations in the coming months.
On the successor, LVG appears the mist likely but he will be at the world cup and will miss the transfer window unless discussions with him are further than we think.
Sydney said months ago, things will get worse before they get better.
I hope this is the start of something more positive.
Anyone fancy a good read, believe it or not Russell Brand in the guardian writes a good piece
Onwards and upwards
