Do players still get 10% of any transfer fee . anybody

Generally it's 5% if they do not hand in a transfer request. If they do then usually they will forfeit their 5%, but occasionally the buying club will replace that amount in the form of a higher signing on fee. Or at least I believe this to be the case :)

I am mates with Cameron jerome he got 10% when he went to Norwich also a big bonus for promotion

A player I know very well who ply's his trade in England got nothing from the transfer fee but was paid a signing on fee. Was he ripped off? Maybe he should get a super agent lol.

I'd guess it works on a deal by deal basis but I also thought 5% was the 'norm' per se.

Jmb, tell your mate he's been ripped! I'm sure it was lvg's fault mind you 😉

Sounds like he has been ripped off HB going on this. Then again he spent most of last season on the sidelines so I am sure he recouped some of the amount due to him in medical costs!
