I'm not one to get over excited over 1 game nor write off a season but what is blindingly obvious is years of penny pinching and frustrating negotiations.

We are so lucky that Van De Sar and Ole are mates as we would not have a single signing this transfer window.

The question is what do we do? What is it that will hurt the glazers enough to make them do one? I'll be wearing my vintage kits (1990 away kit being my go to) this season
and not be buying another till something changes as I can't think of anything else.

Genuine question to the eds and anyone else - is there actually anything we can do to get the Glazers out?

In the short term I’d say no. not buying kits etc makes us feel like we are doing something but unless it’s done by large numbers it won't affect them and they’d still get the Adidas money regardless. What I do think will eventually lead to them going is if we continue to struggle. Right now we are still living off past glories which means we still attract huge sponsorship deals, tv money etc, however if we keep slipping these will slowly dry up and revenue for the owners will decrease thus making us less profitable for them. The problem with this scenario is that they will bleed ever penny they can and will only leave when they can’t make any more. what sort of club will be left behind as a result? In the meantime we just have to hope the penny drops with someone up high and a structural change occurs. Wishful thinking I’d say.

Getting a proper coach and backing him 100% (not referring to signings but give him time) would be the way forward.
I believe the current team is good enough even without new signings.

"Backing" is not something our club does.

Do you think if Pep is appointed, they would allow him to sign half a dozen full backs like at City?

Yes offer them £4 billion, that might do it.
