With Howe going and all his backroom staff a good coaching addition would be Graeme Jones think he would provide the attacking ideas and Holland the defensive.

I think you've said Jones is a good coach before ed001?

It was a decent while back, to be fair, him learning from Martinez would change my mind!

How he made that Portugal team with some of the players they had (I know Ronaldo was part of the problem), so insipid is mental, possession for possession's sake is not for me.



Newcastle have been more action and attack, and I don't remember Everton being quite as bad as Portugal/Belgium were under Martinez.

I imagine one of the reasons Martinez got the Portugal gig was that he'd play ball and allow Ronaldo to manage the team.
Total fraud, who had possibly the best Belgian squad ever, underachieved, and then got handed the Portugal gig and one of their best squads ever, and did the same, but like I say, if he'd had the backbone to deal with Ronaldo, he wouldn't have got the job in the first place.
