Watched the Carrick interview just there and he looks and sounds like a beaten man. Sorry to see it from a man who has done so much for us.
Having said that can't listen to Neville criticise him, a man who was a disaster at Valencia and ran back to an easy number in a television studio. He has no right to slag off a manager.

That's such a ridiculous argument. Neville, to his credit, has been completely honest about how out of his depth he was at Valencia. He's not a manager, but that doesn't invalidate his opinion as a pundit, or a fan. Ultimately, he's a fan that's as disgusted with what he's seeing on the pitch.

Carrick will have more time I'm sure, but only he is to blame if he doesn't try anything different. If he try something and it fails, then at least he tries. But he is not doing anything to change the tide.

Perhaps there is a mix up with the interplay between Bruno and Dorgu for his goal.
Dorgu definitely has to play further up the field and not occupy the defensive positions, he is a liability in those positions.

Emit the win for what it was. We played great and can look forward to the weekend.
We might come down with a bump or we might ride the wave. If we than get the 1st goal then it gives us a real chance to rattle them and they don't like that.
They are a better team than us right now but that can be turned on its head over any 90 mins.
Let's hope we can ride the wave get a bit of luck and the big players have a good day and everybody else is at their best.
We have been making chances in every game this season and with 4 at the back and the wide players tracking back i think we will let in less.

With the exception of Donnaruma (who produced several world class saves and a masterclass in ball distribution), City were poor last weekend, but that should take nothing away from our performance. We were every bit as good as they were bad, and would beat nine out of ten teams we come up against if we played that way every week.

I'm always amazed at the pass SAF gets, he played ball with the Glazers every step of the way, and got 2 million a year in return, not to mention the fact that his greed over a racehorse was a large part of the reason we ended up with the Glazers in the first place.
