I'm not sure Blind is following the philosophy. Out of position backward slice. Shocking. What a waste of money schweinsteiger is for 20 million or whatever. Wouldn't even trust him to open a packet of crisps let alone an oppositions midfield. Putting him together with Carrick reminds me of Harry Enfield and the old gits sketches.

Apparently we only paid £6.5 million initially for Bastian. That's what his old club 1860 Munich (I think) have said as they had a sell on clause and received the fee in August. What a piece of business it is going to turn out to be.
