Ed02 why do you think the board of Manchester United have no ambision in terms of the footballing side. Einstein once said doing the same over and over and still expecting different reasults is lunacy. So I'm trying to understand the psychy of the decision makers. Football knowledge or not you would want success on all sides surely?
I mean a successful team brings more revenue surely as it attracts more attention in media and social media as well as investment? Or am I missing something?

{Ed002's Note - Clubs do not want to change managers unless they have to and changing mid-season means they may not be able to appoint their preferred options.}

Einstein never said that though.

{Ed014's Note - I thought that too, I was sure he said, “What ever you do, don’t offer Ole another contract”.

I know it was awhile ago but sure that’s what he said ?‍♂️

I think he said, ‘for the love of god don’t make him permanent, wait until the end of the season at least. ’

His famous formula is O = McFred Squared.

{Ed014's Note - ?

That was the other Einstein Ed014, Rio Ferdinand, 'Give him the contract, give him what he wants' for f***s sake, we are terrible!

{Ed014's Note - yeah I remember that, thought Ferdinand was nuts at the time.

It was a shocker today mate, never seen a team do so little, well aside from maybe Arsenal in the first 3 games of the season! ?
