ED001,

What are your thoughts on Rabiot as a signing for the club?

My main concern is his attitude, I've never really seen him play.

{Ed001's Note - it is more that his mother interferes as well. I think he is a bit of a baby mentally and someone to be avoided unless you have a Poch-type manager, who will treat him as a child. I don't see ten Hag as the type to molly-coddle anyone.}

Thanks ED001. He should be avoided at all costs. He sounds like the French version of Lingard.

{Ed001's Note - he is a very odd one. Plenty of talent and should walk into just about any team, but he just doesn't do enough to hold down a place even in a league where donkeys like Lukaku and Tammy Abrahams look great.}

Not sure we need another player with talent who can't deliver.

The only positive seems to be that it shines a bit of light to the general football community that the Glazers cannot afford United.

Big time charlie Mutough saying that "the money is there" to the fans recently is complete nonsense. The Glazers do not have the funds for the required investment to compete with City. The transfer funds are limited which forces ETH into buying players like Arnautovic.

Kinda rude to refer to Abraham and Lukaku as donkeys, Ed. Tammy may look like Bambi on ice at times, but his technical ability coupled with his athleticism, it's not a combination you find very often.

And I'm not Lukaku's biggest fan. But you don't score over 100 PL goals and fire your team to a Serie A title after a decade of Juve dominance if you're a donkey.

{Ed001's Note - what technical ability? Abraham has the exact same issues as Lukaku, with a horrible first touch, which is why, like Lukaku, he scores against poor teams as they give him space to rescue his brutal touch. The pair of them control the ball like they have trampolines on their boots. They succeed because Serie A is dog muck nowadays. That is the reason Juve dominated for so long, because it is such a weak league.}

So basically Rabiot will set the same standards as of previous years with our signings. We've maintained it.

Can't say I agree there, Ed, and as a Chelsea fan I've watched a lot of Abraham minutes over the years. He doesn't have a touch like Neymar obviously, but his touch is far from bad. Makes good runs and works the opposition defense.

He's got miles better touch than Havertz for example and people say he's got a feathery touch :p.

{Ed001's Note - I have never seen any sign of that I have to be honest.}
