I hope it is media lies, but it being reported that florentino Perez has told the head of Al Jezira sport that De gea is a done deal for around £28m plus add on's.

It is false hope I know, but I wish he would stay. If the figures quoted are right at least we are getting an ok price considering he has a year left on his contract. It's a lot better than the original £13m offered.

Now there is just the small matter of signing a replacement, a CB, a DM and potentially a striker.

I want to agree, but I would like it over with, his actions have spoken louder than words.
He won't have fans behind him like he has at Utd, and he may realise that soon enough. Hopefully we get a good replacement in.

We should accept that Ddg will go for film reasons. get.the deal done as early as possible. I have said from the start £25m is a good price with 1 year left. not his value but when all added up a good price.
We need time to explore the market eitherfor new number 1 or top youngster to llearn from valdes.

Anything over £25m would be good business imo.

28 million plus add ons possible raising to 33 million, if its the same article I've read.

we have gotten a great price considering his contract and not many keepers go for so much.

With Iker Casillas going to Porto, and RM being without a true 1st choice keeper, does this put MU in a stronger bargaining position?
