i don't get how we go about our transfers

40 million bid gets rejected so we bid 35 million with 15 in ad ons.

is an extra 10 million on top of our first offer really that much its going to damage our finance.

so frustrating seeing the likes of Madrid and other teams get business done so quick and simple.

i understand its prob a difficult process but to bid less than first offered as an initial payment then add some extra money threw add ons when the whole world knows palace would accept 50 million straight up.

just pay the money and move on to other targets.

and before anyone says 50 million is a lot for a player of his age etc etc.

football has changed.

can see us wasting all window on trying to sign a rb, trying to tell pogba to stay and still end up with young playing right back.

I understand your frustration but paying 50 M for a 21 full back without European experience and essentially one good season of football will set the wrong precedent. I think going all out for AWB in terms of price will set the wrong precedent for the signings following that.

You are taking what you see on Sky Sports as gospel.

Also I don’t get the Madrid fascination on here. We aren’t in the same competition as them, and there will always be other teams who sign players fast than any other club. Somebody has to.

James is done, it seems Bruno, AWB and a centre back are being worked on. Things seem to be moving at a good pace. It’s still June.

No point in guessing and making negative comments like we will be starting with Young at RB when we are clearly making an effort to bring in players.

Roll on August.
