Ed 001 would you say Jarrow Bowen's style of play is similar to Dan James?

{Ed001's Note - I am not sure, I have not seen a lot of him sorry.}

Cheers for the quick reply. I haven't either but a few games during during his time at Hull and one game for the hammers. Think he will be good for them.

{Ed001's Note - I think so too. More of a goalscorer than James from what I have seen.}

If you guys don't mind me chiming in on this.

From what I've read and seen of Bowen, Ed001 is correct. Think he has a much better eye for goal than James, who at this point is basically a speed demon with not that much else.
Bowen will probably be good for West Ham, but I do think he can get a tad selfish with his shooting in situations where a shot probably isn't the best choice. Again though, he's pretty damn good at scoring goals. Wouldn't call him similar to James.

Jarrod Bowen stood out in the Championship as a player far too good for that level. It's always hard to tell with players from a lower league if they can step up, although with Bowen as with Bellingham or Kalvin Phillips it is clear that they can play at a much higher level. However, it is where they step up that will be key. If they join a side too high up then they might struggle for game time, if they end up at a club fighting relegation it can be a tough atmosphere to adapt to.

I like Bowen, I even said he could be an outside bet for us in January to add a goalscoring wide player who plays from the right hand side. I wonder how well he will adapt to West Ham under Moyes in a relegation dog fight. Will he be able to adapt his game to a more defensively demanding manager while stepping up against better defenders and keepers? If West Ham are in the EPL next season he could be a good pick for fantasy football players.
