Do we have any readers (including Eds) that can recommend any good football books to read. Recently read a really good book called "Soccernomics" which gives a really good insight to how football really works. Highly recommended.

{Ed002's Note - I almost never read football books but would recommend "The Greatest Footballer You Never Saw - The Robin Friday Story" (because it is a good story) and "Third Lanark - Life and Death of the Hi Hi" (because they are on the come back trail).

I don't know much about soccer books but for the few autobiographies i have read. However, I did chance upon a series, 'Sunderland till I die' and in the absence of footy, it is a good watch, even more so for black cat fans.

Soccernomics is brilliant as is 'Inverting the Pyramid'. Zlatan's biography is brilliant cause the bloke is nuts. Also The Mixer is great for Premier League nostalgia. And Ancelotti's biography is fantastic to read- bloke exudes knowledge and confidence.

If you are pushed for time and just want a quick read I heartily recommend "Arsenal's Champion League Winners".

{Ed047's Note - or another good one is “How to get mugged off for almost £900 million in the transfer market” by the legend that is Ed Woodward. 😉
