Looks like an early reunion with Amorim is in the offing, should he join AC Milan. We have a friendly arranged with them in mid August. Supposedly this will also save us a bit of dosh as he isn't entitled to the zillion pounds in compensation if he joins another club.

Not sure why you wouldn't wait a while if you were on the brink of a big pay day.

Going to be one hell of a tough watch with Carrick as manager, as he is an impressively boring person in front of the camera.

Apologies, wrong post. I assume Amorim has got bored of playing Padel and wants to get back into management and prove himself at a poorly performing big club like Milan, a pretty decent opportunity for him to land on his feet.

I really hope he has learnt some lessons from his experience here. I've still got huge faith in him and I think he will do in to manage some of the other top clubs.
It remains to be seen if he can make some of the changes he needs to in order to be a great manager.
