Hi Ed’s. I read on a recent reply from ed002 that we will be looking to add an experienced centre back. Would one of the options be Rudiger? If so would this be a player we would move for regardless of the new manager? As by the time we’ve appointed a new manager he would have surely chosen a new club.

Im not convinced by rudiger i think he suits a back 3 but don't think he fits a back 4 he's too impulsive and a bit petulant to be relied upon for me.

Dbrooks, I think Rudiger is a very good defender. However, like many modern defenders he probably looks better in a back three than a back four. That said, I still think he would be one of the top 5 CB's in the league regardless of whether it's a 3 or 4 at the back system.

Koulibaly could still be an option. Getting on a bit but would be an upgrade on Maguire.
