Funnily enough this morning I was speaking to my mate, and commented I had a feeling we would draw today, and that Liverpool would win. I thought we looked very tired in the cup final, and this result was coming. In a weekend where most thought we would gain points on them, I actually had a feeling we would lose ground. Predictably as normal I bet on us to win, and went against my gut feeling. I never learn my lesson. Fact of the matter is these are the fixtures, at home to the lesser sides which are killing us this year. But Jose will know in the summer that the attack needs to improve and I trust he'll make the improvements needed.

Now as tough as I think it will be to win the Europa League, I genuinly think it's an easier task than finishing in the top 4 this season given the fixtures we have left. I think we should now prioritise that competition over all else. That imo is our best route to CL football next season.

I think today showed also how important Herrera is to us. Carrick started the season brilliantly but I feel the last 4-5 games have passed him by. Pogba was poor in stages today but he will improve. I think there's a top top player there. Mkhitarian is our best player and he is a huge loss to the attack.

Yes disappointing poor result today, but still on the right track, have the right man in charge, and I think we have a lot to be excited for next season.

Personally I think Liverpool winning did us a favour as it kept it all a lot closer than if arsenal had won. If we and arsenal both win our game in hand on Liverpool, I can also see Everton getting a win tomorrow so that will leave it as Arsenal and Spurs on 53, with us and Liverpool on 52. Could be a lot worse, as we know Arsenal and Spurs won't hold their nerve between now and the end of the season, and Liverpool are also going to drop plenty of points, so top four is certainly not unlikely.

We ripped them apart first half just never put the ball in the net . As simple as that, it happens move on.

I agree except with carrick. I thought bringing on Fellaini for carrick was a mistake. With all that attacking talent on the field we needed someone to make the difficult passes to get the ball to those players in dangerous positions. It was almost comical when they made the substitution and Fellaini couldn't even make a single pass forward. It killed out threat in the final twenty mins. I would have moved carrick back into CB and taken off jones or Rojo.

KG we never know. It might have been previously decided carrick can't last 90 mins. And Herrera didn't come on because I think he's played a lot. His substitutions weren't that bad, the finishing was. We have a lot of talented goalscorers but none of them want to score a goal.

Up until the incident we played some of the best stuff I've seen us play this season imo the zlatan mings moment ruined us and galvanised Bournemouth.
I've always thought playing against 10 men was difficult zlatan having a stinker didn't help . We have all been watching this league long enough to know that no game is a foregone conclusion you have to earn everything you get and quite simply we didn't do enough to win this game.

We are still a point or 2 off top 4 so not so much difference to when we started yesterday but games are running out so we really need to pull our socks up a bit which I'm confident we will .

We will make top 4 imo and we will finish the season having won 2 competition again only my opinion we create chance after chance all we need to do is work on our finishing.
