I feel a judas writing this but enough is enough. I pray the board members swallow their pride and go balls out for Mourinho. Whatever you or I think of his style of play or longevity, he is, at the present moment, the best manager in the world, and we have to move now before Madrid do as Pep is clearly City bound. we are in real danger of letting LVG taking us past January and by then it will be too late.

I think we should leave options open with Pep ancelotti or mourinho.
But I agree lvg must go.
Hopefully Pep will choose us but I get the feeling he's going to stay at Bayern.

It was dumb to loan Wilson out before knowing the Champions League fate. The Rooney injury makes the loan even stupider.
There seems to be zero long-term plan from anybody in middle or upper management. United really need a Technical Director or they will keep falling behind .

If Wilson wasn't loaned it would make no difference. Van Gaal does not rate or trust him so it's better for the lad to get game time elsewhere. Hopefully it will better for us in the long term too if he kicks on while on loan and we get a manager willing to give him a chance.

With Van Gaal's style under scrutiny at the moment I don't think he will be foolish enough to play Felliani up front. The lumping to Felliani is downright embarrassing and it is unfair to the lad as he is a decent player being made to look like a joke.
I would like to see Martial up top with Mata/Pariera throught the middle accompanied by Lingard and Young or even Depay on the wing. The worst thing Van Gaal can do to himself at the moment is go into this game using his supposed plan B and a plan A as the critics will slaughter him especially if we draw again.

It don't matter what LVG rates him, if United drop into the Europa Cup, Wilson plays so others are not wasted. United should have waited the 14 days BEFORE loaning Wilson out.

Jred I do not doubt that Van Gaal will opt to play Felliani I just feel it would be foolish of him as his style of play has came under fire big time sinc the PSV result.

It makes me laugh on here how negative some people are after 1 defeat. We had a bad day at the office. IT HAPPENS. We'll turn Leicester over and win over in Wolfsburg. PSV clearly came for a point and we just couldn't find any answers. We missed some great chances to win the game and limited them to very few. If we'd won we'd be saying LVG was just what this club needed and would fancy ourselves for the CL group winners.

The problem is that whenever a team comes for a draw we struggle to win and if you don't win games you will not win any trophies if you set up defensively and try to hit us on the break and everybody sticks to their job then teams will have a good chance to beat us.

Sorry but with the massive amount spent on players, is this really any better than the football under Moyes. Ok we may be 2nd but the quality of the league has gone down and were already heavily indebted to De Gea again. The squad is nowhere near good enough due to poor buys but I somehow think that a manager with a different outlook could have this group playing a better type of football.

Can't quite believe I'm listening to this gordon to be honest. The guy was until yesterday the highest scorer across all 4 English leagues and suddenly, he misses a pen, and he's holding us back as 'imagine what Rashford/ another would have achieved with similar chances" mental. yes he has wasted lots of chances but he his numbers speak for themselves, were it not for him we would be in a far worse position in the league. Call out the attacking midfielders that can't hit double figures by Feb before the guy who's smashed 26. brockhills me off. We sound like bitter scousers.

I don't think he will go. he's had ample opportunity before and not done so. Spanish or not I think he will be with us after the Summer.

How can you say after one poor game that Jones is not first team quality? The guy, if he can stay fit, is top class. I'm really close to ditching this site because all the toxic plastic fans emerge after a defeat or draw, it was a classic rebound from a team that felt hard done by and defended like gladiators, we had a bad game after LOTS of games and were knackered. We will beat Rostov away.

Yeah the secret footballer book is decent, as is Paul Merson's autobiography. It's not going to win the booker prize or anything but it's really funny and interesting.
