Which is sensible in current climate, to be honest.
Would have been even smarter to let Smalling and Romero leave. If only as a gesture for their service vet the years.

For some strange reason, I am content with the transfer dealings this time especially not signing Dembele or Sancho.
Ofcourse, it would have been better to have planned and signed a CB but at least they didn't made the mistakes again by not overpaying or not choosing the right players.
I agree Dembele/ Sancho are top quality players but the deal doesn't seem right.
