A game we should have won comfortably but we squandered too many good chances, Rashford in particular.

I'm not sure about Bailly at all. He came to a complete standstill in no man's land for their first goal, failing to anticipate and respond to the threat from Barnes.

James does not seem to have what it takes. Even his much vaunted speed was not in evidence today as he was beaten regular in the early period of the game.

Overall it is very encouraging to be disappointed that we feel like we dropped 2 points, rather than gained 1 against a fellow top 4 competitor.

Shawthing, good to see you. Last line sums it up perfectly.

I thought it was McTominay who should have close Barnes down for that first goal, instead he looked like a video game glitching.

Agree LLV McT should’ve closed Barnes down.

I don’t get the thinking that we gained a point against Leicester. We should be going out to win that game. It’s two points lost.

Wazza,

We definitely went out to win the game and we’re 5 minutes away from doing so, as said above you can’t win them all, another away game with 4+ goals like all our away games this season, it’s exciting and fun to watch and generally we are getting the results.

GDS2 it’s another game where we’ve shipped a couple of goals. Frustrating to say the least. We’re doing the right things at the top end of the pitch I don’t think anyone can argue with that, but what’s going on at the back?

Wazza,

Not a lot by the looks of things, occasionally they look really good but we just let in far too many goals at the moment, even with 2 players in front. Many teams in the league are letting a lot of goals in as well though, not just us, seems the art of defending has been lost. It’s exciting at least but frustrating.

GDS2 when does our defence look good?

They offer nothing going forward except a recent goal from Lindelof from a set piece. Nothing from open play.

And when they’ve got to actually defend (in other words do their job) they are all over the place. They never look good. There’s no communication, no solidity and although the coaching is clearly lacking, the players don’t seem to want to take responsibility.

Wazza,

I thought they looked good against city, Chelsea and PSG away from home.
