Really hope that's the confidence boost DDG needed and he can get back to his best. He has been looking good all season but fingers crossed he can do it consistently after tonight!

What is that quote, form is temporary.

I wouldn’t class 3 years as a temporary dip in form. Having said that I prefer DDG to Hendo atm. He is even coming out and sweeping balls more which is a welcome improvement.

Player of the Year four years out of five from 2013-2018. No wonder his form collapsed after carry us for so long. Now he has others to shoulder the burden, watch his form return.

I have been an advocate for Henderson as our no1, and I still think there are parts of ddg game that doesn't suit how we tend to now play. However, ddg has been great this season, multiple games he has kept us in a position to win the game. His form right now is brilliant and long may it continue.

El Paso, I'm in the same boat. I'd have had Henderson as No.1 last season if it was down to me.

Yet you can't but admire how well DDG is playing this season and how well he's done to turn around his form.

I'm not sure if it's becoming a father, being dropped by his national side or whether he has stated the season without the pressure of Henderson breathing down his neck. But in the first 6 games of the season so far DDG has returned to being one of our top players.

On DDG current form Henderson will have to bide his time or move on. If Henderson does leave though I would like the club to insist on a buy back clause above anything else. As I still think Henderson has the potential to be one of the top keepers in the world.
