It is only highlights, only one game and it is only Leeds. but van de beek looked decent and man of the match today.
Looking forward if that keeps up he could come back an important player next year especially if we go down the Ten Haag route. We look like we will need quite a few additions but him and Garner could take 2 of the CM spots, bring in a strong HM as well and we could look very different through the middle.
Or I am getting ahead of myself as we are abject.

Worrying that we have to rebuild the very spine of our team. Shows how far behind we have fallen.

Can't see him returning to United.

At least improved performances with increase his sell-on value, which will add to the transfer pot - maybe 25m? (Figures completely guesswork! ) Add Martial (another 25m? ) plus Perriera (10m? ), Bailley (20m? ), Axel (5m? ) and maybe Henderson (25m? ), plus wages saved from Mata, Pogba, Lingard, Cavani, Ronaldo, Jones, Grant, Matic etc

Could give income of approx £100 plus any funds budgeted for new manager.

Going to be such a huge Summer for us, though targets very uncertain given maybe no top 4 and preferences of the incoming manager.

In an ideal scenario, would like to see Rice, Haidara, Fofana and Schich coming in, supplemented by Garner, Mengi, Hannibal, Garnacho, Amad and McNeill.

Van De Beek ran the show today for Everton.
Most passes, touches, duels and the way he exploited the space for the opening goal was very impressive.
He deserves to get game time after wasting 2 of his years at United.

Shappy, as I said in an earlier post, the best thing we can do as fans is show our displeasure at the way our players are behaving. This can only done with some gesture before the match or during the match. Boo the players, turn your back to the pitch etc. But we have to show them that we're unhappy with their behaviour and attitude.

In addition, we have to show them out displeasure on social media. It's the only thing these tossers understand.

I have never been so disgruntled as I am now with our club and players in particular. We have to take matters in our hands.

I was in Rome when Lazio supporters did this, boy it worked. Some of the United players live in a different reality and in truth really fook me off. In all my years of supporting United (from 83) I've never disliked a United team as much as this. Their attitude stinks, demanding who next manager is, complaining about training methods etc. here's a suggestion, actually work hard and realise your position as all in here and around the world would give anything to play for United. I wouldn't actually shed a tear if all were sold and shown the door. rant over.

Nick, are players actually demanding who the next manager is and complaining about training methods or is it lazy clickbait "journalism"?

Fundamental change is needed at United and the players can only shoulder a portion of the responsibility for the current predicament. Until the Glazers sell up, I unfortunately see the club performing at this level ie battling for final Champions League spot.

Iggy, as much as I dislike the Glazers, they’re not to blame for the complete lack of effort from these players. When a opposition manager comes out and says it’s well known United don’t track back etc, it’s down to the players. They should be appalled with themselves. They’re overpaid mediocre players who don’t deserve to wear the shirt.
