Thank f$%k this week is over, It feels like we only play once a month now. I'm even started watching golf to fill the gap. No league cup and no CL is absolute torture. Really makes you appreciate it even more and realise how horrible it must be over on merseyside. Hope Louis plays strongest side for FA cup or i could be watching tennis as well.

Been complaining for years about season tickets costing me so much with all the cup games. I take it all back.

PS Spike Island is worth a watch - makes you want to paint stuff

Night all

Totally agree Aj and it's another week until the West Brom game. Do they still show Kabbadi on C4 I might start watching that.
It's about time we had a decent FA Cup run we should be after that 100% this season.

Strictly Come Dancing, Downton Abbey, X Factor - my wife is exacting revenge in the worst possible way (these aren't even midweek things).

Internationals are just the worst. Turned off England games for the first time ever this week, they are less entertaining than the before mentioned shows!

Thank god for netflix

{Ed002's Note - I think my wives and I use Netflix more than the regular channels.}

4.) 13 Oct 2014
I definitely do ed, all I use the regular channels for now is gogglebox and football, and Game of Thrones when it comes back on. Since getting Netflix in September I've watched all of Breaking bad, Prison break, American horror story and I'm now starting suits, my social life is slowly slipping away lol

{Ed002's Note - We don't watch any crap like that I am afraid.}

Wait, 'wives'?!

I know its the 'cool' thing for United fans to not watch England and slag them off at every opportunity, but you can't choose the country you are from and the amount of people I have seen say 'I have turned England off, they are so boring' annoys me.

So what if they are boring, I imagine the Estonia fans that sung all the way through the game last night think watching their country is pretty depressing too, but they were still doing it.

You're not obliged to watch them just because you like football and are English. If you don't enjoy it, don't bother! And, tbh, it really starts to do my head in when the crowd start singing 'God save the queen'. I just get the impression they haven't really thought it through.

For anyone who is bored but has an inquisitive and open mind, I can highly recommend the 'talk conspiracy' page on this site. I ventured onto it during an international break a couple years back and I've been hooked ever since!

GDS2 - You need to try Netflix mate, Frank Underwood (House of Cards) is more entertaining in 5 seconds than what England produce all campaign.

What really worries me is how few Utd players are England regulars, it kept me going during the drivel on show during the 2000's - now pfffhh.

I personally think we need a new national anthem as the current one well, it's not very current.

Has the Queen died?

{Ed007's Note - Sadly not but we live in hope, I've got Boxing Day in the sweep.}

I agree HoneyBadger, Cons site beats groundhog day on here everytime.
