Hi all,
Thanks to the Eds as always.
If the piece I wrote two days ago on 'Potential CBs for Summer Signings' was well received, I'd be happy to put together a similar review for other positions.
Thoughts? Any positions, players to compare in particular?

I think we are well stocked on goalkeepers. Romero is the best No.2 in the league. Grant is solid, we then have two highly rated young keepers in Joel Pereira and Dean Henderson.

I would think CM, or RW would be more worthwhile.

Mort, reports this morning that DDG has turned down our best and final offer for a contract extension. As such he will either leave this summer for a fee or next summer on a bosman.

Shappy good keepers but I don't think any of them will be number 1 next season whether de gea goes or stays.

Great read KG and loving the depth of knowledge from some of the posters as well as the Eds.
I think to give Henderson/ pereira a shot in a years time if DDG we should stick with Romero who is underrated in my opinion.
With that I would love a piece on CM and RW options for us.

We have another good young goalkeeper, o hara was on loan at Macclesfield kept them in the league and he won the 3 player of the year awards there.

If DDG leaves it's a gamble for any club who wants him to wait a year to get him on a 'free' because another club might come in for him.

Besides, it's not really free because there would be massive signing on fees and probably demands for even greater wages ala Sanchez.
