Ed02,

Could you confirm if we are trying to sign eriksen from spurs?

Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - Unable to sign the players the club wants they will look to Ereiksen as an option if Pogba leaves.}

I m not convinced neither by Eriksen nor by Dybala. Eriksen looks past his best while Dybala doesn't want to come (and the United stance confirmed this) .
Re opening negotiations does not make sense. We already have a fundamental player with his heart elsewhere, why add another one?
I can see fans and papers reminding us this, as soon the first issue arises.

I prefer if we would go for younger/ hungrier players like Fernández or Sms.

I m not optimistic though. It seems the club either doesn't have a proper transfer strategy or else it s more concerned about generating clicks on internet.

Past his best at 27. Blimey.

I’d take Eriksen, I rate him highly.

People say he doesn’t do it against the top teams, we’ll he's done it against us enough times.

66 goals and 86 assists in 277 games for Spurs. I said at the end of last season that we’d be better off with Eriksen than Pogba, a lot of people agreed. I still stand by that but now that Pogba has “acted professionally” (in other words done his job) some may have changed their mind.

I’d take Eriksen all day. He works hard pressing from the front, covers a lot of ground and imo contributes more to the team consistently. People can argue CE goes missing but we have the most hot and cold player on the planet in PP.

I fear people have short memories and can see Pogba having another epic strop if he doesn’t get his way. Where would that leave us?

Hi, Ed. MUFC still not willing to pay the fee required for Fernandes? Also do you still expect Lukaku to leave? TIA.

{Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed.}

Thanks again Ed002 for your updates this summer, particularly interesting to hear the way the club conduct their transfer business. Whatever happens in the next few days, time to look forward to the season ahead and support the manager and the players. UNITED!

@wazza re Eriksen past his best despite being only 27. Some players peak earlier than others.
Anyway, that s just my opinion.

Gives me anxiety at times this site. Eriksen past his best? Wow 27 years old and haggered down the drain.
