Let’s not get carried away it’s pre season, against a Liverpool side that was not at full strength for starters

It’s a good start but it’s pre season there is a lot of work to be done

We are miles off Liverpool but there was promising signs

But let’s not get Carried away there were also just as many points to improve on.

But any win against Liverpool is always nice.

Effort wise it seems like we are on the up. but under ragniak it started well too . Problem Eth will have to deal with the most is the same as it's been for years, we string 2 decent performances together and the usual suspects get carried away (sone are gone now thankfully) and think they are Billy big nuts and then the effort drops off . He needs to keep them under his boot every training session and match or we will do nothing again.

I am less worried about collective effort under EtH than I was under our recent managers.

It's not that I think some of our players won't slack off, I just don't think he will accept it. If they do I think he will call them out and if they continue I think he won't pick them.

That needs to be the first part, then the board DoF etc need to back him 100% if he needs to take this approach.

Liverpool had so many chances to score. The result could easily have been 5-4 to us and this was not against anywhere near their full first team.

We are a long way short without new additions to the midfield.
