Pochettino seems to be gathering pace in the betting markets.

Very intersting option if we do that.

The hierarchy are clearly reluctant to sack Carrick, but a loss to Villa surely seals it.

Last season I said he'd be a good option for us. Tactically simple, but an excellent motivator, and used to working within tight budget constraints. I see him as a coach that could help stabilise things and lay foundations for an elite level replacement to come in a few years down the line.

Please no not Poch, another who is not the required level and won virtually nothing. l why do you all moan about the quality of players and coach we already got and had in recent years and then want another of the same level.

he is in same bracket as ETH and RA. All nearly men, we need to do our utmost to get elite level in now, not more treading water.

I like Poch. His football is good, he believes in youth, and carries himself well. Sort of guy you could get behind. I understand your thoughts Je Suis, but we're not an elite club right now so must cut our cloth accordingly.

That’s exactly it, Eric. We’re not an elite level club. Poch hasn’t won trophies. So what? We’re not remotely close to winning trophies. What he has proven is that he can get regular champions league football. That’s where we are.

JSU i honestly despair with some of what you say. Poch is very obviously miles ahead of Carrick, is less risky than Nagelsman and has a better body of work than Howe. Just cause you don't like RA doesn't make you correct. Listening to opinions like yours got us into this mess

Eric, common sense would dictate a loss tomorrow and Carricks gone but honestly would any on here be shocked if he’s still here when we visit anfield??? I wouldn’t.
