If we don't buy another forward who actually plays up front, Sesko can't play all the games. He struggled with just the prem games, apparently has still not recovered, and still has a lot to learn anyway. Mbeumo was not great at playing No 9, so what are we left with?

We badly need the experience so that makes it a good signing.
Still desperately needs an experienced CB with pace and another striker.

I agree we need to see how they perform before making an informed opinion, but to call people uneducated or stupid because they have made their opinions before that is a bit rich. Just because it does not suit their opinions, there are many ex-players of the same opinion that both are not good enough, but what gives anybody the right to call them stupid?
I am not sure how just because one is cheaper than Fernandes makes it the right signing or not, though.
Let's be realistic here.

Why is it, Ken, you are so condescending to people's opinions, and then do it in a way that makes your opinion seem the most important and the most experienced? You have no way of knowing who they are, yet you still do it every time.
Just because you disagree with their opinions does not make them wrong or stupid or numpties.
Bad as the ones who block people cos they only want to hear nice things.....

Until we've seen Santos and Ederson play at United, we have no idea. My main concern is the lack of experience, so hopefully that will be addressed, rather than ending up with a team full of potential and little proven quality.
Fingers crossed it transpires.
But, just because big signings have not all worked out previously, it is pretty stupid to think all will go that way. Plenty of potentials have not worked out either. Stop living in yesteryear.

Should he not look a class above half the players on the pitch anyway! Don't think we should read too much into a friendly against Wrexham, and the first one at that.

Apologise for what exactly. The club gave him the contract; he did not force them. The club appointed Ten and Ra, who wanted something from Rashford that is not in his locker. He was disillusioned with the direction of the club, as we all were.
Ra or Ten did not have to pick him for the team, leave him on the bench if that is what they wanted. You have no idea what they had asked him to do or how to play, but they kept picking him, so that tells me he was doing what he was instructed to do.

I think even his calls before the tournament started were wrong. Why no creativity taken with Foden, Trent, and Palmer overlooked for Henderson to be a cheer leader, Mainoo to keep the bench warm. Foden and Palmer would have been better to take than those two, at least they are capable of changing a game. Trent can deliver a ball like no other, and we don't take him.
Tuchel then continues to play and play Kane at 32; he was not needed for all the stupid early round games, and looked dead on his feet yesterday.
Then there’s players in the squad who hardly played all season for their clubs.
And really, Dan Burn & Konsa is the best we got...

Shappy, I don’t agree with much you say, but you are on to something with the education bit, especially in football. There is a distinct lack of education. I’m not sure that’s just in the U.K. though, but we are the main culprits. It is worrying that in this day and age many see routes other than education to riches, that’s a real concern.
Even common sense has gone out the window now... Who is to blame? That’s an old debate, but our national teams 100% lack the savvy to win big tournaments.
