Headline in MEN:

Diogo Dalot issues clear demand to Manchester United teammates - "Not good enough".

Apparently he was supposed to head off upfield, and it was just unfortunate that we lost the ball in midfield...... in other words it was somebody else's fault, which is to say, Mainoo's or Carrick's.

One wonders whether Dalot is even remotely aware that it's his poor performances that have been critical to our current position. Or is completely bone headed?

I really don't care what the overall tactical plan was. When the team is working its way through a midfield press it's insane to leave the whole of the left side completely open. Games are ultimately won by players on the field making good decisions. Dalot has no football brain.

Dalot has massively underachieved, always has a mistake in him and switches off.
However, manager after manager has always picked him when fit so he obvioulsy has something.
Does the above mean he can't be right in his statement, he is including himself in the comment too. Ultimately if the players are going to be speaking at least let them be honest rather than the usual rubbish they come out with.

Now let's see a bit of effort at the weekend!

Maybe, but it seemed to me from the article that he was also blaming bad tactics, in other words throwing MC under the bus.

He was saying that he was told to push up. He was implying that the tactics were ar fault.

We all know the tactics are at fault, Carrick and his team of coaches are so far out there depth it’s untrue…

Every manager in last 8 years and we had a few have picked Dalot so can’t be so bad… as few armchair fans make out
