According to reports the club have started or are starting to talk to candidates for the managers job with a view to making an announcement in the next Fred weeks. funny how that leaks after todays shambles. Not buying a word of it.

Someone who actually won something at a decent level and managed a big club previously and also dealt with all that goes with that, would be nice and someone that players can respect, would be a good place to start, all we have done is waste another season and in my view gone backwards because even the players who were playing for Ole have now given up too.

Nah that’s in the article released 2 days ago he just found now a good moment to basically retweet it. I believe it certainly that the club want to know ahead. I don’t recall if Ed has said anything about it but surely club and next manager want to know early so they can plan for summer.

RR is the man to turn round the club. He needs time. If you actually listened to what he has said about the club, the signings etc, you'd understand that this is a guy who clearly knows why the club are currently trying in the situation they find their selves in.

{Ed077's Note - like Conte said about Spurs, many different coaches, same players, same problems in the team. Go figure where the real issue/blame lies.

We too need to get rid of the players who aren't fully committed to the cause, to the club. We need to sort the whole club out, IMO. The club needs to act like a proper football institution and not just a business venture. It's high time we start actually becoming a successful football club. Or soon we will become like Everton or Schalke or many other clubs with rich history but stuck in the past.

spot on ed. but the question is will the board and powers at be listen?

big tel whoever the manager is the players should respect him regardless if he's won 0 or won everything.

this is the issue, the players think they are bigger than the club and in recent years that has shown to be true, jose wanted rid of players but the board blocked it.

i believe the club are starting to show they are going to sort the structure out and have a clear plan otherwise why did they hire RR.

Would you respect your boss if he comes in and got less experience then you in whatever job you do?

why is he not getting his chance to be a consultant?

he was hired as interim and will move into his new role in the summer.

the reason he was hired as interim was because the manager we wanted "POCH" was unavailable when ole got the sack

it makes 0 sense to have hired a perm manager if he was 2nd or 3rd choice when we have a better chance of getting our first choice in the summer.

short term pain for long term gain. we all knew we would instantly become better but these players have shown there true colours.

He will be paid off and goodbye. It was a gamble that’s not worked out, players are the assets not the manager, or so called manager in this case, the feeling at club now is they wish they just continued with Carrick in the interim!

Poch or whoever was not available in your eyes maybe……

There is no long term gain with RR being there, all it’s done is alienated virtually the whole squad and now also the medical team he as called out there professionalism with his stupid statement, I can’t wait till the truth comes out and some of you on here are in for such a shock.
