Is anyone worried we’ve only got Rashford as an out and out senior goal scorer (on the assumption Lukaku is either gone, going or not fancied anyway)

Yes, I expressed that concern the other day and said if Lukaku went we needed a goal scorer, an Aubamayabeng or however it is spelt, type. A short term fix perhaps but it gives Greenwood time and us a goal threat.

The thing is I am not convinced the club will spend that much. Some days to go but it looks like a Lukaku is going if the deal is right. A shortage of goals could put ridiculous pressure on Greenwood.

Sure we lack depth there but I think martial will be used more centrally than rashford.

To be honest I think the club have decided to have Martial and Rashford as the two main central forwards. It’s a very risky move, especially as we haven’t really got wingers that can contribute many either.

In trying to hold out for a higher fee for Lukaku, we’ve given ourselves even less time to bring in a replacement. The Dybala deal made some sense in that respect, but the club seem to be all over the shop for the last week.

Part timer alexis sanchez is going to have to work full time this season. 37.5 hours a week, 30 minute lunch break.
