Hi Ed’s

Firstly I hope you and all posters are keeping safe and well.

Ed002 previously you’ve said utd are looking to move Sanchez on. With his wages and form that seems a hard task.

What options do utd have in terms of moving him on as selling him for any sort of fee seems very unrealistic.

Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - Alexis Sanchez (LW/F) Inter have cooled over keeping Sanchez and even if they do he needs to agree a significant cut in his financial demands. Regardless Manchester United still want to sell him permanently this summer and will be looking for a club to take him - but that will be very difficult. Fallback would be another loan but Manchester United would likely have to pick up most of his wages.}

Thanks for the quick response.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome - but it will be a tough one to resolve).

It’s evident to everyone we’ve dug ourselves a deep hole with him so be interesting to see how we get out of we can.

The optimist in me sees him play some sort of role as a back up on the left and up front to rashford and martial.

But do you really want someone on such a big contract as a backup, potentially putting other players noses out of joint who feel they are contributing way more than him but are on a fraction of what's he's earning.

I think hea done, we didn't realise at the time this would be the worst piece of business we have ever done. He has no role with us, but I can't see anyone else buying him either.

He has looked utterly defeated for the last few years. No confidence, no fight. The edge of his pace and acceleration went, and he just gave up. Don’t see any option other than running his contract down and sending him out on loan while covering most of his wages.
