People wondering whether James Garner is ready to play in the EPL for us, well he's having a great game against Leicester at the moment.

Most completed passes for Forest, most successful long balls, most successful crosses, with one assist.

Very effective against a top half EPL side.

Not convinced he's the answer personally, but he certainly delivers a good dead ball. I imagine Forest will break the bank to keep him.

Will be disappointing if Garner is not brought into the first team next season. Once the clear out is complete we will not be able to fill all positions with high priced players.
Hopefully Garner will take one of the HM slots along with a new player giving him some good game time as part of the next stage of his career. if RR stays this is his model.

Garner is ready, he is one of the players I always look out for and watch the games just to see him play and he is getting better all the time. We would be stupid not to bring him back and play him next season.

He’s getting great experience in a cimoeetige league, it will be fantastic experience for him. I have no idea if he can step up but I watched Mount at Derby and whilst he looked ok, he has taken that extra step. Garner is getting sharp in a tough league, he needs to be given a chance.

Maybe he’s not quite ready yet but doesn’t seem far off. Hopefully improve further rest of this season.

Think we’ll go for Rice and Haidara in the Summer but, if we don’t get Rice (seems to prefer to stay in London with Chelsea, thiugh they need to trim their midfield first and always read on their page three they’d prefer Tchoumeni) then can see a midfield next season of McTominay, Haidara and Garner - which I’d be pretty happy with to be honest as will leave money for an attacker and a defender.

Wallace, that potential midfield trio seems very combative and full of running, but little creativity. Maybe I’m doing Haidara a disservice.

Spenno, think Haidara is like Fred but more creative and Garner loves pinging long balls around.

Plus Bruno and Hannibal/ Sancho/ Amad etc

Not sure if I can think of a central midfielder who is also creative and might be available: Kroos but too old? Though probably someone out there

Think Those 3 type of players will fit better into the hard pressing philosophy more, lots of running.
