Strange line up with Shaw in CB while we've got Lindelof, Varane and Reguilon on the bench.

Varane is surly leaving in January. Strange staring martial uptop aswell, he offered nothing midweek. I'd happily eat my words but I bet he doesn't even break a sweat before he's replaced.

I think Shaw should have gone straight in at CB when he came back, he’s our best left centre back when Martinez is out, calms everything down and rarely puts a foot wrong. Maguire has been very good recently so keeps his place, Lindelof has proved over and over he’s not at the top level.

To be fair, ETH has been proved correct so far. Our centre backs have been our best players.

I wonder when the penny will drop that we have to change the formation away from home against the big teams. This was a passing age baton game, wonder when we will next finish above newcastle in the league.

Funky, be very surprised if anything at all is done in January. Perhaps 1 or 2 leave on loan, but slim chance of any incomings.

Last season we got Wout Weghorst. This season we have the ownership to resolve.
