Sky (I know) reporting a bid has gone in for AWB no figure quoted though, just substantial. Watch this space.

1.) 09 Jun 2019 05:48:55
Sky make things up all the time, they are just trying to generate clicks and interest. Their deadline day shows have become embarrassing, they build them up into being ‘the most dramatic day ever’ and they are always a compete flop. They also have their own betting site which is dodgy. Creae a rumour and then watch the money go on it.

2.) 09 Jun 2019 10:31:43
Fair comment AJH, I guess we’ll have to wait and see if there is anything to it.

3.) 09 Jun 2019 10:42:21
Sky Sources, means we read it in the metro.

4.) 09 Jun 2019 12:20:19
Love this to be true but I don’t see us paying over £50m for a fullback.

5.) 09 Jun 2019 12:32:49
IDK about the fee but the player yes, he is exactly what we need. We need him and a very good center back and i think the defense will be sorted out, after that Ole or whoever is calling the shots can concentrate on balancing the midfield out. A right winger should be a priority.

6.) 09 Jun 2019 15:12:06
As much as I think we will eventually sign him, I wouldn't believe any outlet that has as much influence over a betting market as Sly Sports.

7.) 09 Jun 2019 16:28:34
£40m bid gone in.

8.) 09 Jun 2019 16:44:41
Is wan bissaka really that good of a player? I know the market is inflated so I won't get into money. But do you guys think he would be an upgrade on Valencia. From what I've seem he seems good in defense but doesn't really contribute much going forward. He takes the ball forward like Valencia used to do but there is no end product just like Valencia. His crosses aren't that good and passing is also average.
Maybe you guys have seen much more of him at Palace so please let me know what you guys think of him.

{Ed004's Note - He is a brilliant player. Outstanding defensively and has the most successful dribbles of any fullback in the league. Hudgson doesnt seem to give the fullbacks much freedom to get forward but he got a couple of nice assists last season. I think he would be a cracking signing}

9.) 09 Jun 2019 17:27:34
I agree with Ed's assessment of Wan-Bissaka. He has been really good defensively, arguably the best fb in the league defensively. And I don't think his offensive game can be questioned too much because as Ed4 stated, Palace aren't the most attacking team and Even if AWB was given the freedom to attack, he would be crossing towards Benteke, the most immobile forward in the league. He would produce better results crossing at a Lamppost than Benteke.

Even then for me personally, if we sign AWB and he turns into one of the best fb defensively but is only "average" in attack, I would gladly take it.

{Ed004's Note - I would argue he is the best fullback defensively. Only fullbacks I would have over him are Robertson and Trent due to their attacking threats.}

10.) 09 Jun 2019 18:32:03
Slight tangent but for those that have seen Palace would Zaha be a good option to develop. Both would be used to playing with each other. Not seen enough to judge and also there is the never go back rule!

03 Jun 2019 13:42:22
Manchester United are said to be offered a choice of five Real Madrid players for Paul Pogba.
So supposedly Madrid's plan to secure Pogba is a money plus player deal. They are said to be prepared to offer Bale, James Rodriguez, Theo Hernandez, Keylor Navas or Isco. Sounds like Journo talk or RM fishing.
In reality Hernandez is the only one that would interest me but we already have Shaw. I also doubt RM would give Hernandez and say 80M for Pogba, so it's a no for me.

1.) 03 Jun 2019 14:46:59
i wouldn't touch any of these with a stick.

we don't need other teams rejects.

2.) 03 Jun 2019 14:53:40
Wouldn't take any of them. Why should we help them out by taking their castoffs' off the wage bill.

3.) 03 Jun 2019 15:02:35
I don't think we should be agreeing to any of that. They want pogba they should pay up 180mn sounds a nice number. Should fund our rb, mf and cb additions. Make the Spanish persons pay through the nose, if not then there always is the fax machine.

4.) 03 Jun 2019 15:03:48
Hopefully Woodward, Judge and Co. Think the same.

5.) 03 Jun 2019 15:32:46
id take isco in a heartbeat.

6.) 03 Jun 2019 16:10:58
Would isco want to come though it it would quickly become di Maria part two.

7.) 03 Jun 2019 16:14:39
I’d snap their hand off for Isco.

8.) 03 Jun 2019 16:25:17
Yeah, Isco would walk into our midfield but doesn't sound like a plausible deal to be made.

9.) 03 Jun 2019 17:36:40
The reality is we want rid of Pogba. Anything we get over £100m is a bonus far as I'm concerned.

10.) 03 Jun 2019 17:36:14
On isco, don't we already have enough players who are not productive in the final third. Why add another?

No thanks to amy real madrid cast offs unless they want to include varane.

11.) 03 Jun 2019 18:14:46
Rumours of us offering 60 mil for Madison. This club has gone daft. it used to be players begging to join this great club . Now we have to pay inflated prices for mediocre players.
This club needs a total overhaul from top to bottom. I'm afraid it will be another season of under achievement because the soul has been ripped from the heart of mufc.

12.) 03 Jun 2019 18:49:38
Rock the red, you might want to watch some football other than United matches. Maddison has been one of the best creative midfielders in the EPL this season. He has created more chances for his teammates than Hazard, De Bruyne, both Silva's, Eriksen, Salah, Mane and Hueng Min-Son. So hardly mediocre. He would be an excellent signing even at 80m. Hell we paid 90m for Lukaku, and he has more potential to be a success at our club than Lukaku. So 60m would be a snip in today's market.

13.) 03 Jun 2019 18:51:02
We would not get more than £90m for Pogba. If we get that then we should take it.

14.) 03 Jun 2019 19:18:47
Rock the red, Utd regularly pay a premium for good players so that is nothing new, it’s been the case for years.
The scouting and recruitment side needs to be so that Utd buy young players who are on the cusp of making it that we then develop into what we need.

Cinderella, Pogba is a World Cup winner and the top clubs in Europe ie Real Madrid and Juventus want to acquire his services. So he is worth every bit of the £90M and probably a bit more.

15.) 03 Jun 2019 19:36:03
I’d take Maddison in a heartbeat, already one of the best for his age and will only get better.

16.) 03 Jun 2019 19:51:42
Snappy . I'm a Man Utd fan, why would I take any interest in other teams, Unless they were playing us of course. And probably beating us in the process.

17.) 03 Jun 2019 20:11:35
Rock the red, it gives you some perspective for one thing. Plus you get to see good players and gain a better understanding of the game.

But each to their own. Out of interest if you never watch football other than United then how do you come up with an opinion about players our club is linked with?

18.) 03 Jun 2019 21:54:39
Shappy, I know you love a stat but where do you get them from?

The only stats I can find suggest that David Silva, Hazard and Salah all created more 'big chances' than Madison last season.

It's neither here nor there really but you often quote stats that are, shall we say questionable, though they do conveniently back up a point you are trying to make.

19.) 04 Jun 2019 01:26:11
Maddison was in the top 3 in Europe for chances created this season.

20.) 04 Jun 2019 06:59:20
I too read that Maddison has created the most number of chances by a midfielder this season.
He has good technique, good set piece delivery and battles hard for the team.
Add to that, he is a United fan.

21.) 04 Jun 2019 07:30:01
What counts as a 'chance' though, and how is that interpreted. Chances? , 'big chances'? - surely down to interpretation.

Lies, damned lies and statistics again.

Should also make the point that I am questioning the 'stats' - not Maddison as I agree he is a decent player.

22.) 04 Jun 2019 10:23:05
Betty, the statistic is pulled from his "key pass" statistic. Which is described as a pass that places the recipient of the pass in a goal scoring position.

Which is a better measure of the creativity of a player than assists as it doesn't rely on the recipient of the pass to actually score. However, as with all individual stats in a team game there are mitigating circumstances to every statistic. In this case it dozen't rely on a goal being scored by another player, yet it still relies on other players making runs and moving into goal scoring positions for the player to make the pass to.

Maddison has averaged 2.8 key passes this season.

Hazard made 2.6
David Silva made 2.2
Eriksen made 2.1
Bernardo Silva made 2.0
Sigurdson made 1.9
Sterling made 1.9
Salah made 1.8
Sane made 1.3
Mane made 1.3
Son made 1.1
Alli made 1.1

Outside the EPL Messi made 2.7 which means Maddison made more key passes than Messi.

Obviously key passes aren't everything, consider that Trent Alexander-Arnold has 12 assists from an average of 1.7 key passes, and Robertson has 11 assists from an average of 1.4 key passes. Whereas James Maddison only has 7 assists from his average of 2.8 key passes per game. Which means out of the 98 goal scoring chances Maddison created only 7 ended up in the back of the net.

Now was that because the players he was presenting chances to are poor finishers? That would explain why the Liverpool full back have more assists from less chances created as the Liverpool forwards have been very clinical this season. Or is it a case of not all chances being equal? Some chances are decent chances others are gilt edge chances?

In the end statistics only tell a part of the story, which is why clubs spend fortunes sending scouts out to games rather than relying on a players statistical output. Stats suggest traits, but you need context to get the full picture.

29 Mar 2019 23:06:03
Rumour that a cheeky bid of €40M has gone in for Declan Rice.

{Ed004's Note - Cant see that being enough to sign him and I dont rate him highly enough to bid any higher}

1.) 30 Mar 2019 04:18:03
I guess we’ll see if it’s just a rumour or if it’s real interest.

2.) 30 Mar 2019 10:32:08
I like Rice, he looks a real talent. However, we have Garner coming through who could be a real talent. I think with Matic, Herrera, Fred and McTominay all able to play in a more defensive role in midfield we could afford to not sign a player like Rice and gently blood Garner.

3.) 30 Mar 2019 12:33:56
For the money involved I'd rather put it towards the defence to be honest. Something tells me if he moves it'll be to City. Then 3 years on loan before vanishing.

{Ed004's Note - Not good enough on the ball for a Pep side}

4.) 30 Mar 2019 15:58:53
Cant see anyone else going in for him.

5.) 30 Mar 2019 18:59:52
Think he’s already good enough to get in our midfield.
Matic is slowing up and the others are only average bar Pogba on his day. Even then we still need more creativity from somewhere.

6.) 31 Mar 2019 10:50:09
A different question from me but why is the bid in Euros not pounds. We are in the PL, so are West Ham. I think that in itself means the rumour is most likely false/ inaccurate. Or maybe I am being stupid.

{Ed002's Note - It will have come from some mainland European website I imagine.}

29 Mar 2019 03:15:06
An article just came out saying United's two candidates for the DoF role are internal. John Mutagh and Marcel Bout?

Murtagh was discussed when his name first came up, does anyone know anything about Bout? (no pun intended)

1.) 29 Mar 2019 04:19:29
Marcel Bout is one of the best choice as per Ed002 if I remember correctly.
Hope there is some truth in those reports.

2.) 29 Mar 2019 07:30:00
Interesting piece in the Telegraph. Suggests it may be a Technical Director rather than a Director of Football. The Techhnical Director would work with the manager and both report into CEO.

3.) 29 Mar 2019 11:30:09
Bout time we got this sorted.

4.) 29 Mar 2019 11:58:35
What exactly is the difference between a tech director and a DoF - is it level of influence or seniority in structure, or just one position having two titles?

{Ed002's Note - A DoF would be responsible for all footballing sides and the scouting system. Typically a TD would be responsible for the scouting and often setting a style of play.}

5.) 29 Mar 2019 12:18:46
What do you think Bout is a good choice? Just curious. What are his qualities?

{Ed002's Note - Bout has extensive coaching experience, particularly at Feyenoord and Bayern Munich and joined Manchester United with LvG in a scouting role, for which he is very well respected in the business. I don't recall what I said before but you can search the site.}

6.) 29 Mar 2019 13:56:31
Thanks for clarifying that Ed. if we have shifted our focus to finding a TD then i take that as Woodward wanting to keep first team matters under his thumb. Not a good thing as he has gone far too long and caused many issues simply because there is no one to challenge his opinion and stance on matters he has little experience with.
On the plus side us moving towards establishing a style of play should make our recruitment better in the long term. LvG tried to do this by getting all the footballing teams playing the same way and changing the scouting / training. Only issue was his style did not suit what the fans wanted.

{Ed002's Note - I am far from convinced.}

7.) 29 Mar 2019 14:46:54
I am not convinced either Ed. Unless Woodward wants to trust others' with more experience in footballing matters and let go a little, the structure is not going to do its job. But as a fan, i can only hope he does soon and enjoy the good football in the meanwhile.

8.) 01 Apr 2019 04:53:28
Thanks for the reply Ed002.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

9.) 01 Apr 2019 11:55:32
Given Bout was brought in by LVG would he not want to bring in players to match LVG’s style instinctively?

22 Mar 2019 03:04:39
Morning Ed's reports are coming out this morning that Ander Herrera May he signing with PSG? Does anyone know if there is any substance to this?
We're all aware that his contract is up for renewal. I for one would not like to see him go. He demonstrates the heart and fight we need the players to have. A commodity this squad is low on at times.

1.) 22 Mar 2019 08:26:49
It's a bit worrying when we prioritise keeping the likes of Jones but seem to not be worried about losing Herrera. Who in my opinion deserves an extension and should be valued higher at this club.

2.) 22 Mar 2019 09:28:05
One of those ones if reports are true that psg are offering him a salary increase and a 3/ 4 year deal then i don't think we will compete with that as we should be wary of offering multi year deals to players entering their 30s.

Especially after the alexis sanchez debacle. But herrera is very much low down on the list of players i would like to see leave in the summer.

Ironically the perfect spanish midfielder (saul) to replace herrera will be playing at the other club in manchester next season.

Shows what you can do if you plan and prepare properly for transfer windows and are good at recruitment.

3.) 22 Mar 2019 12:22:32
Woodward has snookered us behind the black ball. A club with our turnover and money making ability is currently at our capacity for wages. Woodward and the club's lack of a plan is stopping us from moving forward. Ed's short termism in signing players on huge wages ie Zlatan and Alexis was a disaster.

Ed002 said we were in precarious situation with our wages which was solved when we paid Zlatan off and got him off the wage bill. Alexis wages dwarf our best players. So we have very little wiggle room to get new players in without getting players off the wage bill. De Gea, Herrera are let run their contracts dangerously low but Smalling and Jones are signed up even though both could/ should be surplus.

The man with a career in banking might be good at getting a top dollar noodle sponsorship but the actual running of the football side of the club is a shambles.

4.) 22 Mar 2019 14:43:55
What happened to the talk of a Director of Football being appointed? Where we'll see Herrera getting a contract instead of Phil Jones.

It's fantastic that Ole and Phelan are at the wheel but we'll still need a better football man than Ed to take care of the football matters.

5.) 22 Mar 2019 15:17:01
Cant see that happening any time soon Killerscones. Woodward has both power and influence in who could and would be appointed and as its obvious he models himself off Kim Jong-un, why would he want to relinquish power. We shouldn't just settle for, or get for getting sake a DoF but really can't see it happening whilst EW is in his current role.

6.) 22 Mar 2019 16:53:28
We have a director of football: Ed Woodward. He should just cut out the middle man and appoint himself as manager as well.

7.) 23 Mar 2019 01:18:48
Well then the same problems from the last nearly 6 years are going to keep happen. History repeats itself if there isn't change. Please Ed do the right thing. Give the football side of things over to someone in the know and fade into the corporate background where you're a wizard. Horses for courses.

8.) 23 Mar 2019 09:08:37
Is he even a wizard on the financial side? It can't be that difficult to sell marketing your company with a club like united.

9.) 23 Mar 2019 18:11:32
Mort. Could you do it to that extent? Ed W is absolutely brilliant at what he does. Unfortunately the club passed too much power to him. That’s not his fault. He’s just in the wrong position. But he’s an intelligent bloke and very good on the financial side. Unfortunately the club let him be in charge of too much and now us fans are paying the price.

10.) 23 Mar 2019 22:43:09
Wazza, ed002 has said the problem with finding a Director of football is Woodward. The man with the job to find a DoF, doesn't want to relinquish control. He'd rather spend the entire summer flashing a bit of thigh at Gareth Bale or another "superstar" player instead of trying to build a squad with an identity.

He's a huge problem on the football side of things.

11.) 24 Mar 2019 08:16:37
Mumbles I don’t dispute that and I agree with you 100%.

Mort was questioning if he’s good on the financial side. He clearly is. He’s got where he has because he’s an expert in his field. Unfortunately somebody decided to give him more control over matters he has little experience with and EW decided to go for it. I don’t think any of us can question his ability on financial matters. It’s football matters where he’s seemingly is out of his depth.

12.) 24 Mar 2019 10:00:37
He's perceived as an expert in his field. Is it really so hard to propose commercial deals between a globally known sports team and globally known companies? I think ed1 said it best previously.

11 Jun 2019 23:54:37
Is de Ligt turning into the new Grieseman?
"After the Nations League I will decide which club I will move to. "
Now, "It has been a long season, I will go on holiday and then make my decision. "
Dragging it out.
Of course he has the right to take his time but don't say one thing and then do something different.

1.) 12 Jun 2019 07:51:56
I was feeling the same. He is extremely talented fella but i think he is getting carried away by the hype he is getting. He is enjoying it and is teasing the clubs. I feel we need someone down to earth kinda guy if any. Dias seems to be better option for me. Talented and hardworking.

2.) 12 Jun 2019 09:00:11
He isn't joining us so it shouldn’t really matter.

3.) 12 Jun 2019 09:05:49
We were used again to get a player a raise. United were approached to make an offer for the player, who has zero interest in coming to us. I hope Ed isn't getting sidetracked with De Ligt flashing his thigh to everyone. There are a lot of quality centre backs who would improve us. Hopefully we are chasing more realistic targets.

4.) 12 Jun 2019 08:34:06
It’s annoying, but at least he hasn’t made a film about it.

5.) 12 Jun 2019 11:24:31
Dias is an excellent player. But his wife is a famous celebrity in Portugal. They are the Beckhams of Portugal, so while i love Manchester, and think it's God's own city, i don't think Dias and his family will be uprooting to come to Manchester. Madrid or London might be his preferred choice if he leaves Portugal.

6.) 12 Jun 2019 11:25:09
Clever agent.

7.) 12 Jun 2019 14:23:29
Or maybe he knows his next move is the big one for him and he wants time and space to think over all the options. Just like any of us would if we had multiple job opportunities.

08 Jun 2019 12:46:32
Ed002 list worries me a little too.
For our stated preference for young British talent there is only 8 (AWB, Aaron's, Maguire, Rice, Longstaff, Sancho, James, Sessegnon) out of 47! that we are said to be interested in.
per Ed's comments I think we are only likely to land AWB, and James.
If spurs are balking at paying £25m for Sessegnon we should be showing interest.
Perhaps we should be widening the net?

{Ed002's Note - There is no "Spurs are balking at paying £25M".}

1.) 08 Jun 2019 12:58:58
Hi Ed002. I didn’t mean in your information, but it is being reported elsewhere that Spurs are balking at the asking price. I know this is likely just paper talk, that’s why I said If they are.

Cheers Ed.

{Ed002's Note - There is no £25M asking price - someone is teasing you Mike.}

2.) 08 Jun 2019 13:38:08
How is 8 a bad number, we are talking about england here not someone like france.

3.) 08 Jun 2019 14:42:15
But you there is a difference about those "8 British players" Mike. There isn't as much a competition for there signature from other European clubs. Also the number of genuinely top class British talent isn't that high and even then 8 out of 47 is decent when you factor in that other 39 players come from around the world.

4.) 08 Jun 2019 14:13:24
CSM by that I mean we are said to be focusing on British talent. Yet out of 47 players we are ‘showing interest in’ only 8 of those are British. I would have expected the ratio to be higher if that’s our focus, wouldn’t you?

Thanks Ed must be just papertalk then.

5.) 08 Jun 2019 16:24:53
Perth. The better quality players are foreign, there aren’t many world class British players so it’s not surprising and nothing new.

6.) 08 Jun 2019 17:18:19
why would it be higher, there is only so much talent in britain. There is a reason why they are such an average international side with 1 atmost 2 worldclass players.

7.) 08 Jun 2019 19:25:43

I think you’ve believed something you’ve read that isn’t true mate, take everything in the papers and on twitter with a pinch of salt, it will make you feel better I assure you. We are looking at some young English players, 8 seems more than enough to me, do you want us to just sign 15 English players and no foreign players or something?

02 Jun 2019 14:48:22
Not the first time this has happened but numerous reports suggesting United have won the bidding war for Rabiot
How would people feel about adding the Frenchman to our midfield?

1.) 02 Jun 2019 15:12:41
Not the best piece of business, he is a pain to manage by all accounts, ability wise a pretty decent replacement for hererra but do we need another problem child in the squad.

2.) 02 Jun 2019 15:12:56
I like him. Think he’s a very good player and an upgrade on Herrera. Obviously there is chat about his attitude and baggage, but I do think PSG have treated him terribly and have sidelined him. Personally, I would be pleased with him joining.

3.) 02 Jun 2019 15:43:24
In footballing perspective, he was a top prospect an year ago.
If he can find that level, he would immediately improve our midfield.

4.) 02 Jun 2019 15:46:00
Can pass the ball forwards and his second touch isn't a tackle. Therefore he is an upgrade on all our midfielders apart from pogba.

5.) 02 Jun 2019 15:50:47
Hmm tough one. Talent wise he is a great player, he is also a hard worker.

There has been recent reports about his attitude, although this has come out during his spat with PSG who themselves have acted appallingly. There isn't any prior reports of him having a bad attitude.

Supposedly his mum is a pain to deal with and was the reason for his move to Barcelona falling through. However, there have been reports that since then he has removed his mum as his agent which could smooth things when attempting to sign him.

I would be prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt over the recent poor attitude reports. He could be a relatively cheap option who would offer huge upside if he came.

He has the best qualities of Matic and Herrera with the added ability of being really good playmaker. Mobile, hard working, defensively astute and able to control/ dictate play.

Let's see what happens.

{Ed004's Note - If the wages are reasonable it could be a very astute deal. Im still hoping we get Fernandes but a midfield 3 of Rabiot (holding), Pogba and Fernandes (box to box) would hopefully have plenty of energy and technical ability. Can always play Matic, Fred or Mctominay if we want extra defensive cover}

6.) 02 Jun 2019 16:03:05
Mike. Nothing from the player. Nothing from his agent. Nothing from the club. So read into that.
Most probably being fed to the press from his side in the hope that a bidding war begins.
I think he looks a good player with good physical and technical attributes.
Has been reared badly by psg this last 6 month.
Ed002 says he comes with significant baggage. Maybe that's why he has not got the offer he wants.

7.) 02 Jun 2019 16:31:15
correct me if i am wrong ed but didn't both his father and grandmother pass away in January? if so then surely that will have had a huge impact on him. i know not football related but i'm sure the last 6 months being sidelined has not been the nicest experience.

{Ed004's Note - I think I read something about that happening in January, not sure. Itll have been a tough year for him Im sure.}

8.) 02 Jun 2019 16:55:02
Ken, I take your point but we don’t always hear directly from players, agents or clubs during transfer dealings. I did lead with ‘not the first time this has happened’
We have seen similar stories in the past, I know.

Ken, didn't you mention on the rumour page about a certain Portuguese midfielder possibly join the club though a contact. Now that isn't anything official from the club, the player, the players representatives, his current club or from the press.

That's the way transfer rumours work, they don't always come from direct sources. Occasionally someone working with the club or the representatives or someone who knows the player says something to a friend who says something to another friend and before you know it we have a genuine bonafide rumour.

In not comparing rabiot but a certain Eric Cantona came with baggage too.

Fernandes has said
"I like Liverpool a lot more [than Man City],  "It's a more direct [style of play], more offensive, maybe less organised, but more intense football. "
Read into what you will.

Exactly shappy. Nothing coming groom anybody official often points to a potential deal. That's what i said 'read into that' its a possibility.
But its also using united to flush a deal out elsewhere is also a possibility.
On balance i think there could bee some truth in this one and that we are making efforts to sign him.

A question for the EDs or knowledgeable poster. What's the significance of United saying Pogba must make a formal transfer request? Does it trigger monetary clauses in his contract? Reduce any monies payable to him? Or his agent?
Just wonder why they would say that. I would think they would know if he wants to leave. Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - It means that the 5% of the transfer fee the club would pay to the player are retained by the club.}

Thanks Ed. Much appreciated.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

2.) 20 May 2019 10:13:09
Good info, did not know that.

3.) 20 May 2019 10:28:32
Thanks for the information Ed.
Never knew the financial significance of a transfer request.

4.) 20 May 2019 12:54:56
Good question Perth, thanks for the response 002.

5.) 20 May 2019 15:34:08
Does it not also help the club in that they can then say that it was the player not the club who wanted the sale. Helps prevent or reduce a backlash from fans against the club and so instead the player is seen as the evil one.

{Ed002's Note - The fans will whine regardless.}

6.) 20 May 2019 16:45:55
Not all of them.

{Ed001's Note - I think he means the ones that will whine are going to whine no matter how it is presented by the club.}

The transfer window is barely open and we have already been linked with over 30 players.
Take what the papers/ websites say with a pinch of salt everyone. It's just an opportunity for them to make money.

1.) 20 May 2019 06:29:16
Makes sense, everyone and their dog knows we need a whole new squad. 25-30 players at least.

That must be the first round of auditions Shappy 😊.

UA my comment was sarcasm.
You talked about ignoring people’s comments and moving one.
But by continuing the argument, you clearly have not moved on.
I don’t care if you do or don’t 😊 it doesn’t bother me.
But you did one thing and claimed to be doing another.

UA I think it’s clear to everyone that you just move on.

remember Dalot showed some good potential as a RM/ RW in a couple of games this year. It may be that AWB and Dalot can play together forming a strong right side.
Dalot also can play LB which provides cover and with AWB in the squad allows us to offload Young as we have AWB, Dalot, Shaw and one from the youths.

Srestha, give the kid a break and have a little faith. 😊
He is a big talent with lots of potential. He’s already demonstrating what he’s capable of when given the opportunity. He comes highly recommended by one of our legendary wingers.
Don’t expect him to come in and single handedly fix all of our problems. No one player can do that.

In breaking need
AWB and Dias will solve our defensive problems. This will allow OGS to radically dispense with the outdated practice of using a keeper. Thus allowing United to overload the midfield, dominate games and destroy the opposition.
