Switch Rashford or Mbuemo upfront in first half.

Cunha receiving ball in wide positions so he can run at people

More bodies getting into the box and attacking the ball properly.

More urgency and effort from players.

Bringing an extra midfielder into the middle, sacrificing either rashford or Mbuemo.

Bring on lacy, he is a live wire and can change a game. Bring on Dorgu earlier for Shaw who is pedestrian at left back - could keep Shaw at LCB in place of Martinez if that is preferred.

I don't know, but after looking tepid in the first half, going behind in the second, and looking completely benefit of attacking threat, I might not have waited until the 77th minute to do something.

I'd have chucked Baleba in to allow the other mods to get higher and mix the formation up a bit.
Without a proper striker (who'd have thought we needed one.) they seem to not know who to pass that final ball to.
Tough bench to look at for inspiration though.

Here's what I would have done differently, I'll ignore the starting lineup concerns I've raised before, and make only suggestions from the game.

I'd of hooked Tielemans for Baleba to free him up more. Of the three central mids, including Bruno, Mainoo didn't do too much wrong. Tielemans is so slow! I'd especially of done this the moment we went 1-0. Converting to the 3 at the back when attacking, which we should be doing at 1-0 down against bottom of the table. Baleba acts as the third CB in essence, but only when required.

At the same time, I'd have hooked Dalot and Shaw for Maz and Dorgu. No explanation required

Then, Lacey for Mbeumo, who again needs to get amongst the goals.

I'd also have given Yoro minutes and hooked Maguire, who every game concerns me.

Mainoo had a poor game and was rightfully subbed. I don't think anyone thought bringing on Zirkzee as the first sub was going to work well.

Mainoo had a bad game, but it wasn't as bad as Tielemans or Bruno.. that's the point.
