Rashford really gets battered on here. I don't understand the hate he gets at all. Seems like a good lad. I still believe he can give something to the team too so I'm rooting for him.

Banjoe

1.) 01 Aug 2026 10:49:52
There are 4 main reasons, Banjoe.

1. He said he wants to leave.
2. His commitment and dedication have been lacking, turning up late, going partying.
3. He appeared to not be trying too hard.
4. Most damning, for the last 2 years, he has been pants.

Yeah, seems like a good lad.

2.) 01 Aug 2026 11:01:27
Good lad? Two better words: "bad egg", and that is what is printable here.

That situation, where he was in N Ireland at a night club, could not make training the next morning, rang in sick, flew back too late, and then totally disrespected the shirt by flouncing around on the field.

All unacceptable.

He must never play in that shirt again. If Carrick allows it, then he is a weak manager.

3.) 01 Aug 2026 11:07:36
Hate. ??? What is it with people and this hate today? It's disgusting and totally inappropriate, imo.
I don't know of anybody that hates Rashford.
I never want him to play for United again for all the reasons above, but I don't hate him.

Dumb expression, and used too often. Not getting at you, Banjoe, lots of people use it.
I hope he is sold or loaned, and if not, left with the reserves. Highly unlikely, but that's my view.

4.) 01 Aug 2026 11:14:55
He's unprofessional and was part of the creation of a toxic culture at the club. We've turned over a new leaf, and part of that was not indulging individuals in the way Rashford has been for years. If he comes back, it would need to be with the condition that he acknowledges the need to change his approach dramatically.

5.) 01 Aug 2026 11:26:17
The club will make the correct decision for the club. He's a good player, despite some of the nonsense on here suggesting otherwise. If Carrick thinks he can add something to this squad and team, then that, for me, actually shows far more strength of character than weakness to allow him back, coach him and contribute.

He lost his way, had enough of the basket case this club was under Ten Hag and Amorim, and we have no idea what was said to him during this time.

We're all so quick to judge, and keen to write people off in this world. It's tiresome.

It may be he has backed himself into a corner, and his best option is Utd. Do I think he'll stay? I'm not so sure. His options now feel limited to us, Chelsea, or Spurs. I know, here, I'd rather knuckle down and play.

6.) 01 Aug 2026 11:31:29
The question I ask myself is, why didn't Barca want him? He had a decent season, but then they decided not to spend £27m for him, opting instead to pay £$70m for Gordon, same position.

Why the extra £43m? Age, maybe: Rashford 28yrs and Gordon 25yrs.

I think it is something more; they have handled him for a whole season, and he did well for them, but they still do not want him at a bargain price!!

7.) 01 Aug 2026 12:39:10
The club don't want him, but may be forced to keep him if he doesn't get a move he wants. It's a shame the whole situation.

8.) 01 Aug 2026 13:13:56
Well reading what Redman thinks about him, I would say "hate" is not far off the mark, Tumbleweed.

9.) 01 Aug 2026 13:21:22
Eric

I'm not quick to judge. I defended him for years, ask United Addict, he and I used to spar regularly about Rashford, and I was always in his corner.

But what I have seen is a nice young man suddenly start being the big I am. The Rolls Royce, the bling, the tatts, the nightclubs. He's free to do all these things, but when there is a lack of professionalism off the pitch, and a lack of effort on the pitch, then it grates.

I don't hate him, I'm just sad and disappointed at how his career and approach has regressed.

He could have been the next captain, he could have been the future, but right now he's struggling to find a top club that wants him.

10.) 01 Aug 2026 13:26:11
Banjoe

I don't hate Rashford or anyone tbh. Simple, he disrespected the club and must never play for us again. No hate.

11.) 01 Aug 2026 13:31:08
Banjoe, Redman doesn't even know Rashford, and certainly does not hate him.
Redman, do you hate Marcus
Rashford?

12.) 01 Aug 2026 15:05:07
The problem is, he is supposed to be a United fan and is an academy graduate, which means he gets held to a higher standard by the fanbase than players we sign, as he's living our dream.

Is that fair? Absolutely not, but it's the case anyway.

He is someone you would expect to be a leader, certainly an advocate for the club in our dressing room. Yet the stories that leak out seem to suggest something very different.

There was a time that he was a hard working, dedicated player, someone who played with painkilling injections and delayed surgery to help the club. He was also performing well on the pitch, often only second to Bruno for goal contributions each season.

But then something changed with him, and it appears that he stopped playing for his boyhood club and just started clocking in and out of work, giving the bare minimum. He started becoming late, going out partying, and generally going off the rails a little bit.

I'm not sure what happened, but something shattered his idea of what the club is, or how he sees the club.

Rumours are that his personal life went a little awry, that he broke up with his long term girlfriend, who was supposedly a stabilising influence.

Maybe he felt the club owed him more support, maybe he felt let down by the club.

Either way, his performances dropped and his attitude was seemingly affecting others. To the point that the club were prepared to ship him out on loan to Barcelona.

Maybe too many bridges have been burned, maybe too much has passed. But if a solution to leave cannot be found, then he and the club need to find a way to work together. Maybe having a former teammate in Carrick as the manager might be able to get through to him. Maybe his time away from the club has allowed him to reassess his priorities/opinions.

If we can get the 2022/23 version of Marcus Rashford back, 30 goals and 11 assists in all competitions, along with a hard working attitude, then maybe fans will start to soften their view of him.

I hope we see the best of him again, it would be a shame for his story to peter out, and end with him being bundled out the side door. But I'm not sure I have much expectation that he will find his best form for us again.

Anyone know when the European fixtures are made? Looking forward to city break somewhere.

Banjoe

1.) 27 Jul 2026 13:17:40
It will be a one off trip according to the doom mongers here.

2.) 28 Jul 2026 09:19:01
Jeez, I read that as a one way trip and thought things had gotten very dark!!

18 Jul 2026 21:55:14
Mainoo must have injured his arse from sitting too much.

Banjoe

1.) 18 Jul 2026 22:32:32
Maybe he decided he wanted nothing to do with it. Maybe he got splinters, lol, hopefully he's back fully fit for the start of the season. He should be having a strong season this year.

2.) 18 Jul 2026 22:42:28
Splinter injury in his backside from sitting on the bench.

3.) 19 Jul 2026 00:12:15
Had the soul kicked out of him. He ain't injured, I would wager.

4.) 19 Jul 2026 05:56:34
I do have concerns about Mainoo's character long term. This stinks like being magically fit when RA left. We need to be careful he's not another Rashford.

5.) 19 Jul 2026 07:33:39
Agreed, jf123.

Like the rest of our English players, I do think that Mainoo was unfairly treated (at this point, nobody can convince me that Tuchel doesn't have an axe to grind with the club), but the best response would have been to go out today and show Tuchel (and the country) what he's been missing, not throw your toys out of the pram and feign injury.

6.) 19 Jul 2026 09:04:12
Yeah, he must have been very clever to convince all the England management he is injured. Listen to yourselves.

7.) 19 Jul 2026 10:18:25
AJH

To be honest, he may well have seen his backside, told them he didn't feel right to play, having been given zero minutes, and agreed it would be easier if the word injured was used. Feasible to me.

8.) 19 Jul 2026 11:17:47
Entirely feasible. Save face for both parties. Personally I hope, whatever the truth, that he gets over the disappointment and kicks on this year.

9.) 19 Jul 2026 12:17:47
AJH, he only got to say he was feeling a twinge, and no medical department can override that. So he hardly got to convince anyone.
Possibly what he did too, but we will never know. If he did, that's quite a bad look, and a huge concern over the mentality of a young player.

I honestly think, if a good offer comes in, he would be sold. I am not sure the right mentality is possessed by this kid.

10.) 19 Jul 2026 12:46:45
There is nothing to suggest he faked an injury. If he did I'd be disgusted.
No player has a given right to play, and that's up to the coach, simple as that. If you can't take it, then it's a very bad look and says nothing positive about his character.
imo that's Rashford-type behaviour.
I doubt he faked it.
I agree with jsu that if he faked it it leaves serious question marks over his character.

Coaches pick teams, and if you don't like the team they pick and are not in it, you try harder to get into the next selection.
If a manager didn't like or rate you, then you work harder to change his mind.
Bellingham was not in his team. He visited Southgate and Ancelotti to get advice on how to get back in the team. Who's advice has Mainoo sought?

11.) 19 Jul 2026 13:12:03
Tw

Probably Rashford.

12.) 19 Jul 2026 18:53:42
Very good, Redman. ?

22 Feb 2026 09:17:03
What are your unpopular opinions? An opinion that you know would get most on here all fired up. I'm not looking to start an argument, just interested in some opinions. For example. I think Garnacho should have started the Europe final and was right to be annoyed about it and Harry Maguire has been a fantastic signing and our team is always better when he plays.

Banjoe

1.) 22 Feb 2026 11:39:49
Disagree strongly on both fronts.

2.) 22 Feb 2026 12:18:31
Disagree on both fronts.

3.) 22 Feb 2026 12:21:10
Thanks for playing, Don. Here's mine. We should never have sold McTominay, Maguire should sign a new contract, and we would have won more European Cups if SAF was more tactically astute.

4.) 22 Feb 2026 12:33:48
Indeed, right to call me out on not playing properly. Good shout on SAF. He had issues in Europe at times. I'll give mine: Pogba was a much better player for us than he is given credit for.

The true confirmation of our demise came when Rooney signed that mega contract. And Neville wouldn't be on my top United XIs in the EPL era (I'd have Irwin and Evra as FBs).

5.) 22 Feb 2026 12:49:53
Crazy talk, DonRed. Picking Irwin at right back is clearly cheating. GNev for me, underrated player.

6.) 22 Feb 2026 12:57:10
Patrice Evra is the best LB. VDS is a better keeper than Big Pete. Rio is better than Vidic. Scholes is better than Gerrard and Lampard. Rooney is better for us than Ronaldo. Rooney is a United legend and was world class. ?

7.) 22 Feb 2026 13:10:32
Irwin played a lot at right back. Maybe not as much for us, but at Oldham and Wolves that was his usual position. Definitely not a cheat to have him there.

8.) 22 Feb 2026 13:22:48
We should have stuck with Moyes and we'd have won bundles of trophies.

9.) 22 Feb 2026 13:57:16
No Fizz. In my near 60 years of support, the Moyes period was one of the worst, bar Sexton. I have said many times on here that SAF lost us the Barca finals and some of the earlier 90s Euro Cup chances as well. I watched Rio describe how, after getting a run around in the first half against Barca, in which Rooney equalised just before half-time, SAF did not change anything tactically. Rio said he thought the boss felt he had to play a certain way, and that was it. It was pretty obvious we needed three in CM, with one in front of the LB and CB to combat Messi. SAF said he had learned after the first loss, but he hadn't, so yes, I agree with the tactical comment from AJH, and I said so over a decade ago.

As to Garnacho, I liked him initially and gave him support on here, yet when I saw his attitude change to a stinking one, and he believed he was far better than he was showing, I changed my opinion on him. I actually think RA did really well to get him gone, and it was a big plus that we received the fee. My unpopular opinion is well known. We should have taken the £100m last summer for Bruno. But that has been argued for months, so next one. Appoint Diego Simeone as the next manager.

10.) 22 Feb 2026 14:09:45
RVP worked out well for SAF's last year, but as far as the long-term health of the club was concerned, he was a terrible signing, symptomatic of the short-term, aging Galacticos thinking that became the norm.

11.) 22 Feb 2026 14:37:37
I think it was Ken who said a single player doesn't win titles, or something like that. Whilst true, RVP is as close to doing that as I've seen; he single-handedly dragged us to a title in 2013. I'm not saying others didn't contribute, but without him, we wouldn't have won it.

12.) 22 Feb 2026 14:39:45
Lol, Red Man. Surely you realised my post wasn't serious? I agree re Sexton. ?

13.) 22 Feb 2026 15:31:16
Ha, Fizz. Lot of distractions atm and fell for that.

14.) 22 Feb 2026 16:16:05
Nice post. McT not sold, and Diogo Dalot to be kept.

15.) 22 Feb 2026 18:49:57
Probably will go down like the Titanic, but for me Chris Smalling has been the best centre back the club had after Vidic and Ferdinand.

16.) 22 Feb 2026 18:51:29
Sesko will score 20 league goals next season. We will sell Martinez in the summer.

17.) 22 Feb 2026 18:20:44
Wilf McGuiness and Frank O'Farrell weren't too cool!

18.) 22 Feb 2026 19:43:43
Edwin van der Sar was a better goalkeeper than Big Pete. I love Big Pete, and his personality was exactly what we needed when he joined. However, especially for the modern game, I feel that VDS was far more complete and he elevated those around him far more than Big Pete ever did.

19.) 22 Feb 2026 20:38:31
I liked Mike Smalling, but he always appeared on the cusp of being a really great player without quite getting there. Another player who did better having left United; he was a star in Italy.

20.) 22 Feb 2026 21:54:36
His fitness improved a hell of a lot in Italy, Ajh. I always felt if he and Jonny Evans had stayed fully fit, they were a really good partnership, but that's just my opinion.

21.) 22 Feb 2026 22:17:41
I was a fan of Mike and Evans, but neither could stay fit. Add Jones into the mix; all were good players that got injured early in their careers and never reached the heights they could or should have. Shaw, to a lesser extent.

22.) 23 Feb 2026 00:31:15
Great post. Carrick will take us to third this season, sign as permanent manager, and get us within ten points of the PL winner next season.

23.) 23 Feb 2026 01:29:24
We will win the title this year.

{Ed025's Note - and im dating Emilia Fox Jimbo.. :)

24.) 23 Feb 2026 15:15:26
It was Sydney sweeney last time Ed, you get around a bit ? I also don't know who your new fling is.showing my age perhaps

{Ed025's Note - you need to watch Silent Witness Jimbo, although i do have 2 back ups mate in Carol Vorderman and Carol Kirkwood.. :)

25.) 23 Feb 2026 18:56:35
I was then mixing up Silent Witness with Prime Suspect, maybe that's another for your bank in Miss Mirren.

{Ed025's Note - Helen would work for me Jimbo..

26.) 23 Feb 2026 19:04:09
I don't think Mainoo will succeed at United. Martial had more talent than Rashford. Garnacho was one of the worst youth players to play that amount of games for United. Rooney is United's best ever player. But my favourite one that gets a good debate is Edwin, who cost us the Champions League final by conceding a near-post goal from 20/25 yards out.

27.) 23 Feb 2026 22:49:13
Carol Kirkwood. ❤️

28.) 23 Feb 2026 23:22:54
Beckham wasn't as good as people think, but his brand made him global.

11 Feb 2026 18:33:14
Just when I start to feel a bit of pride again in our club, 'ole Jim has to come out with his stupid comments. I hate that he ever came to us.

Banjoe

1.) 11 Feb 2026 19:40:23
Hes a disgusting c-unit, who moved to Monaco to not pay tax, utter rat. Typical billionaire bull, look poor man, that foreigner is taking your cookie, whilst he hoards 1000's!

2.) 11 Feb 2026 20:25:00
All those immigrants coming over scoring goals for us.

3.) 11 Feb 2026 21:32:03
Many immigrants in Monaco?

4.) 11 Feb 2026 22:09:58
The problems that billionaires have to cope with…hard times!

5.) 11 Feb 2026 22:12:14
He’s good with figures! 58, million in 2020? Gone up 12 million in the last five years? Slightly off there Sir Jim!
I wonder what he paid off ETH and Rubin? No wonder we’re skint!

6.) 12 Feb 2026 08:07:40
So, are you suggesting that immigration ISN'T out of control?
I've no desire to get involved in any political argument here, but I think he made a good point and that he wasn't talking about his own wealth but about the country's wealth. I believe he was pointing out that the current.

and increasing levels of benefits expenditure are unsustainable. In that, I consider he's very much correct.
That said, I have only seen a snippet of the interview and may have missed your point and be off the mark.

{Ed001's Note - have you thought that if he actually paid his taxes, expenditure wouldn't be out of control? Rich prick points the finger at immigrants to avoid admitting it his actually his fault is what happened there. Immigration isn't out of control, it has lowered in recent years, but that doesn't suit racist rhetoric.}

7.) 12 Feb 2026 08:58:11
Racist?! Behave! I'm talking specifically about the illegal immigrants arriving by boat across the channel. I do NOT see the vast majority of those as 'asylum seekers'. I see them very much as a Trojan Horse invasion that is going to destroy this country. Absolutely nothing racist about my attitude, but it seems easy to lob the old racist card into a discussion!

{Ed001's Note - funny, I never said you were racist, but your reaction tells its own story.}

8.) 12 Feb 2026 09:08:11
You can have a nuanced argument about how much immigration has taken place in the UK, most definitely. From 2020 it seems to have gone to unsustainable levels, all parties agree on that tbf.

Jims comments however come over as misinformed and hyperbolic when he uses phrases like “colonised”. Also once you factor in the tax point and him living, for sensible reasons in Monaco, he looks hypocritical.

Combined with the fact that Man United is supposed to be an institution in the country, would expect the supposed figurehead to speak more carefully.

9.) 12 Feb 2026 09:17:35
Fizz,

Don’t want to get into a political debate, but please take a step back, do your own reading about why the expenditure and economy are failing. It’s such a lazy narrative to blame that on immigrants and what the rich people would love you to believe, it doesn’t take too much to step back and see it’s nonsense, but most are just willing to believe what the rich people tell them. If you do your own research and come up with the same answer then that’s fine, and you may have already done that, but as the Ed says, think why the rich people want you to believe it’s immigrants fault.

10.) 12 Feb 2026 09:37:16
Just when you thought you couldn’t dislike our owners any more, Jim chimes in and says hold my beer!

11.) 12 Feb 2026 10:12:26
I see the owner of betfred was the highest payer of personal tax in uk in2025 @330m and the 3rd biggest was the last that owns a large chunk of bet 365.
1. It shows how stupid people are to lose so much gambling
2.

How much tax the wealthy do pay if they are resorted for tax in the uk.
Taxation is one if the least fair responsibilities today.

12.) 12 Feb 2026 10:14:42
Ed001. No, it doesn't tell its own 'story' at all. If you knew anything at all about me or what I'm about, you would understand that it is impossible to label me as racist. The fact that your post is directly below mine and appears to be responding to my post led me to believe you were indeed pasting that label on me. Dropping the race bomb is simply a cheap shot aimed below the belt.
GDS2. If you read my post, you will see that I'm not being led by the nose by rich folk.

I am referring specifically to the thousands of illegal immigrants crossing the channel and the ongoing expenditure of housing, feeding, health care, legal fees, etc. I also made it clear that I had not viewed the entire interview, nor did I suggest a liking or not for SJR. I have nothing to 'step back' from.
I should have trusted my first instinct and avoided this thread like the plague. I shall do that now.

{Ed001's Note - ok mate, of course.}

13.) 12 Feb 2026 11:06:05
Imagine living in Great Britain, the biggest colonizer of history and then having the audacity to complain about immigration. Humanity is bigger than football. Now having said that, illegal immigration, the one where people have no plans to work but scrounge is wrong and needs to be stopped.

Without immigrants, our NHS would stop in a heart beat and our taxi system would grind to a halt (to name a few) .
Ratboy lives in Monaco and has the audacity to complain about immigrants lol.

14.) 12 Feb 2026 11:08:53
???? ???

Bloody foreigners!

15.) 12 Feb 2026 11:18:38
Since Brexit, and us leaving the Dublin convention, the number of “ boat people” coming across the channel has quadrupled, because they couldn’t then be sent back. Hope you didn’t vote for that Fizz!
By the way, I’m an immigrant and I came across on a boat! And, I’ve been paying taxes for 60 years!

16.) 12 Feb 2026 12:27:41
Net migration is likely to be in a negative by the summer. I wonder what Nigel and his cronies will have to talk about then. Labour are sorting immigration, once they do the narrative around them ‘should’ change, but with our media run by the rich, it’s important to get your information from a wide range of sources.

Farage has come out and backed the Rat’s comments, if you’re not a billionaire and you’re thinking of voting for him this should tell you all you need to know.

17.) 12 Feb 2026 13:31:37
Brexit - and in particular the extreme interpretation of it that has been adopted - is a far bigger drain on the UK economy than anything Jim spoke about. The worst case economic forecasts of its impacts are actually very close to what's happening. The UK clearly needs to re-establish relations with Europe. That can all be true and not imply that wanting to have more control of borders is racist. Control though is often launched on with language like "close the borders" or "invasion" or by automatically linking societal issues with immigrants.

That is racist (or more precisely it is xenophobic) unless there is evidence behind it. For instance data shows that immigrants are net contributors and proportionally commit fewer crimes. But wanting to ensure the rate of population growth is managed so that services can scale accordingly etc is all fair. I think Jim Ratcliffe has veered towards xenophobia here but as Fizz said that does not negate all his points.

18.) 12 Feb 2026 13:42:43
The man who lives in a tax haven to avoid paying his fair dues, who has seen his individual wealth skyrocket over the past few decades, and has taken his companies out of the UK to avoid paying tax, is actually not the problem.

No, the real problem is immigrants because they are the ones responsible for lack of state revenue, the cost of living crisis, below inflation wages, and housing shortages.

This has nothing to do with the persistent concentration of wealth in a ever narrowing percentage of the global population, and everything to do with bloody immigrants.

19.) 12 Feb 2026 14:12:31
Not a big shock this is how Brexit Jim thinks.

20.) 12 Feb 2026 14:59:51
Hes a moron and every day i dislike him even more. He doesn't know his ancestors were romainians!

21.) 12 Feb 2026 15:25:57
Patrick, by the way, my father is also an immigrant, and he too came across on a boat! He served this country and has been paying taxes for longer than 60 years.

22.) 12 Feb 2026 17:44:36
We’re all immigrants Fizz! I think you should let your father retire!

23.) 12 Feb 2026 17:58:42
Danny, immigrants are not responsible for lack of state revenue. They, in the long term, contribute more in taxation than they do in claiming benefits.
Housing shortage? Thatcher selling off council houses anything to do with it? Successive governments not fulfilling building targets?

24.) 12 Feb 2026 19:15:02
Patrick, tax is paid on pension.

25.) 12 Feb 2026 19:28:45
Get the Saudis in, least they've got nothing dodgy about them.

26.) 12 Feb 2026 20:33:36
Wow!

What a thread to walk into first thing in the morning! Calm down people.

NHS would stop in a heartbeat - gold!

27.) 12 Feb 2026 22:02:28
Keefy- can’t tell if that’s sarcasm or you agree with my comment re:NHS.
If you agree - fair.
If you disagree you’re entitled to. However unless you work on the frontline as I do and have knowledge about the ethnicity of staff then I’d be happily engage in convo.

28.) 13 Feb 2026 05:14:13
Don't the Rat's companies also receive handouts from the government that are being paid for by taxpayers as well? So not only does he not pay taxes, he actively takes money out for his own benefit as well.

29.) 13 Feb 2026 08:47:22
Fizz, may your father continue to pay taxes for many more years. Did he hail from the Emerald Isle?

30.) 13 Feb 2026 09:00:31
I was loving the NHS and heartbeat link. Calm down!

31.) 13 Feb 2026 09:12:31
But for what it’s worth I do agree.

32.) 13 Feb 2026 10:55:13
Patrick, indeed, he does hail from The Emerald Isle. Born and raised in Curry, County Sligo.

33.) 13 Feb 2026 12:09:18
I wonder what the players think about his comments, we're a squad full of immigrants or sons of immigrants. These joint owners are as bad as each other in different ways, I hope I live to see the day when we're bought out by a lesser evil. P. s the term 'race card' f**ks me off no end, it says more about the person saying it than who it's targeted at.

He employs thousands of people in the UK who will most likely pay tax in this country. a lot of British reside in Monaco to avoid tax. Everyone would if your accountancy firm recommends it.

Dont remember Piers Morgan calling out Arsenal for paying their players through their Jersey office.
SJR has a point and is allowed an opinion. Maybe worded more carefully. The over-reaction is not a surprise and anyone who think Brexit (in name only) and governments want to solve the issue are deluded. They skew the numbers on everything including immigration. How can they even know who has arrived and how many? Only goes to boost the black market economy and or increase the public burden. The public sector has to be paid for by the private sector, private sector must be bigger than the public sector to pay for it. Its always been like that. The NHS is failing as there are very few jobs for skilled/trained and hardly any jobs.
Many people are leaving this country who were born here more recently but all is positive as it at least keep the net migration lower.

Asking for Martinez to be moved on sounds mad to me. The man is unreal this World Cup. A definite keep for me.

Many here didn't want Lammens either because he wasn't famous enough.

I actually hate this style of play under Amorim. It doesn't feel like United to me, so I'm very happy for him to go but it's not totally his fault. Wilcox and co hired him to implement a system and style and are now not supporting it allegedly. This appointment hasn't worked and I don't believe it ever will.

I would say the playing style is awful but Amorim can't play against ten man Everton and show absolutely nothing and follow that up with a several brutal performances and expect unquestioned support in the transfer window. I wouldn't be on Wilcox side either, I think they should both go.

I'm not a fan of Sancho but "greed and delusion" does not come into it. Utd gave him that wage and that contract and why would he take less. He has also had a disagreement with the club so why would he make things easy for them.

Our defence is very static, regardless of who plays at the moment, but I'm optimistic otherwise.
