Why is it so important that the manager/head coach knows the club? Not worked out that well for us so far!
We already have a manager who is championship level, don't need to replace him with another.
We were promised best in class. Well the best managers and coaches out there have no history with United, and I'm fine with that. Just get the best person for the job.

In fairness, I should have stated I only dialled in at half time, so if my assessment doesn't ring true for any first half performances then I apologise.

The best part!
Carrick comes in, finds a way to win with the squad at his disposal, playing a totally different way, but in reality, that was the worst thing we could have done. The board lapped that up, and we are set back even further.
The fanbase and club just thought Amorim didn't know what he was doing, but he was changing the club, one bad recruitment decision at a time.

Agreed DonRed, hence I will persevere with the updated % like the usual suspects did until Amorim was driven from the club.
In the summer, some of us called for the club to at the very least reset the principles and recycle the squad, to finally rid it of all the worthless crap we have accumulated. We chose not to.
We actually chose to drive the club backwards with out recruitment this summer.
I was told, you can't make that many changes in one window. What that translates to is that Glineos won't make that many changes. The spreadsheet wouldn't allow it.
It has to happen this next window and in the summer. Start the clearout now. To stand a chance of turning this around.
