During tonight's game, reports from an accredited correspondent say that Carrick and Cunha had a "relatively robust exchange of views" during a first-half stoppage. Cunha was then substituted at half-time.
Sport Bible also covered the moment, noting fan reactions that Carrick may have "given up" on Cunha or was treating him unfairly, with some suggesting it could affect the player's future if Carrick stays.

There's a lot of friction growing.

Carrick basically went tit for tat with Bruno in post match comments. Bruno criticising Carrick's strategy of sitting deep and not pressing, and Carrick saying that they pressed in the second half and conceded because players weren't running back.

I can't see him surviving much longer. Players don't speak like that unless they have zero respect for the manager. Same as at Chelsea last season. The only thing keeping Carrick in a job is that he represent the third consecutive managerial blunder by our best in class directors, and they're worried about their own jobs.

Well Bruno has laid into Carrick tonight, clearly he has lost the dressing room and will be gone soon.

Hopefully Bruno goes with him, had enough of his antics now.

It's all turning a bit ugly, players kicking off, I don't see Carrick lasting much longer. The in-fighting will be the thing that seals it.

Watching that tonight should be the end for Carrick, absolute dross.

The formation of the last 2 games something like a 433, giving the lack of quality in defence a chance, to having 3 no. 10's with a 2 in front of a decimated defence and then wonder why we conceded 4.

Sport bible is not so trustworthy but there is clearly a problem with Cunha. He even played Bruno instead of him in the wings. Either he has a problem with Matheus or (and) is afraid of dropping Bruno which is our worst player by a mile.
Ironically, he is the one who questioned his tactics after the Como defeat.

Martinez grew a pair and didn't hold back, now Bruno has had his say too.

If Carrick is in charge come the weekend, I expect the players will likely give up, to get him sacked.

My friend is a Wolves fan and knows some of the staff that were present with Cunha, apparently this is quite common and he is quite difficult to manage with poor discipline.

Not saying it relieves Carrick of anything, and the fact a number of players have spoken out now points to a pattern, but in isolation this wouldn't have surprised me about Cunha.

I hate to sack managers. However, with what is a constant downward spiral at the club, I was actually surprised to see that Carrick hadn't been sacked at half-time. It really is that dire.
That said, it appears to be a constant feature no matter who the manager is. The players give up.

Whether Bruno agrees or disagrees with Carrick it shouldn't be aired in public. It should stay within the dressing room.
I thought that was a proper sh*t house thing to do by Bruno last night after the game. All he did all game was moan, loose the ball, blame other players on the pitch. He was absolutely awful last night, this is the Man United Captain .

Like i said in my message above we had 11 cowards on that pitch last night. Just when you think it can't get any worse it does. I seriously don't know where we go from here. I don't think Pep could come in and sort this load of babies out.
