Agree. He could prob turn up at City or Liverpool and score a hateful but we do need to build with the long term in mind. Also frankly with our current squad he would not get many goals.

We can be linked all we want, but he isn't coming to sit on the bench while Ronaldo plays. While Ronaldo will only likely leave if we fail to make top four. In which case I can't see Lewandowski coming to play in the Europa League or worse the Europa conference league whatever that is.

Could Lewandowski perhaps be brought in alongside a younger striker, rather than instead of them?

Assuming Cavani and CR7 both leave this summer, we basically only have Rashford to play up front. We could bring in an older player like RL AND a younger striker like Nunez, they'll provide competition for each other, and any young striker could learn a few things from RL. Rashford would offer a backup if they are injured or otherwise unavailable, but could focus on recovering his form competing for the left wing with Sancho.

Obviously if Cavani or CR7 stay, no need for RL.

Surely no one in their right mind wants cr7 or Cavani to stay, or RL to sign for that matter! Let’s stop this nonsense of giving final pay days and go out and get or find our next cf for ten years!

Also I must applaud RR on his rashford comments in presser, if he wants to go then he can ??.
