I don't LVG was ever going to sell Shinji syd. Looks like Zaha won't be sold either although I reckon he'll go out on loan.

We could afford to lose four of them and not have to replace them but Rafael needs to be Replaced if e does leave

Oz, if true, then I cannot say I am not happy about keeping Shinji & Zaha. Both are good players and under the right guidance could flourish. They are what I'd call great squad players.

MB, I think if these reports are true and Rafael is to be sold, then Valencia has already replaced him, with Cuadrado (perhaps) replacing Valencia as first choice. So Shaw & Young for the LWB position and Cuadrado & Valencia for the RWB position.

Agree with you there, I'm surprised Cleverley hasn't been told he's going.

Bit annoyed if Rafa does leave however, could really be suited to the RWB role.

We can afford to lose Fellani and Anderson from our midfield and not replace them hey!? So you'd be happy with Herrera, Carrick (not fit) and Fletcher (normally not fit) and Tom Cleverley to play in the middle?
If that happens we will finish 7th and deservedly so

Really hope that Cuadrado will come in as RWB in the 3-5-2 and winger in the 4-3-3.

Valencia is terrible defensively and not much better offensively either. If Rafael leaves I expect we will see a new rwb coming in. If not I can see us shipping a lot of goals down that side of the pitch next season.

Syd! Maybe LVG has seen Young play really well on tour and thinks he may be the best at RWB for the upcoming season then Valencia as understudy? Obviously if we sign Cuadrado then Young will be back up for Shaw but if not then I can see Young as the the number one RWB.
