That was refreshing. Worth waking for half way into the night. AWB can't cross but boy did he smash that. That was a surprise team selection but Newcastle gave us time on the ball so it worked fine. Why doesn't Mata play more often, him and Bruno are 2 players with brains and they combine well. Should play them together more often atleast against such teams where you don't have to counter all the time.

Why doesn't he start? You could see the difference he made when he came on at 75 minute (yet again way too late for a substitution by Ole) . If Ole has to shoehorn Pogba in the team he needs to play a 4-1-3-2 or 4-1-4-1 formation with just 1 man pivot of Matic/ McT/ Fred and play Bruno, DvDB and Pogba as the 3.

Bruno can miss a penalty but his celebration when he scored said a lot about him and similarly when Mata came off, his fist pump was sooo good.

All in all a good performance and let's hope we don't slip back into the shell against PSG. Go out and play and may be just may be we can repeat last year.

I don't think there is a response to that nonsense Caolan. Unless you are Ole, then its you who needs to cut out this dross. The disappointment is that we are capable of doing this but Ole is unable to get this performance out of the team week in week out. Once in a calendar year isn't good enough.

Shan, post SAF, only Ole's team have scored more for United.
We even broke an EPL record last year where we scored 3 or more consecutively for four games.
Improvement is clear.

😂😂 4 games into a season Shan. Win our game in hand (not sure when it is. ) and we are a point of liverpool. Big run of games coming up and if we can get a few wins that could provide momentum.

I’d quite like it if ole survives the next few weeks, hell even years because in all likelihood it means Manchester United have been successful. That’s what matters, and with all due respect the nonsense is stating that the manager survives. Everyone on the site knows your thoughts- not every post needs to come back to that. For a change it was quite positive then you still end on a negative.
