Ole has to leave one of greenwood pogba rashford or mctom out of the final.
mcfred are essential for ole ball.
I want him to leave pogba out but I think he will leave greenwood out.

That setup we have played lately doesn’t work, he’s trying to force both Bruno and pogba into the team without dropping mcfred…it isn’t working and it’s being a negative on our attacking play. I’d drop Fred and play mctominay pogba and Bruno.

Ole is a rubbishbag. Most unusual when you think that he used to analyse games from the bench, then come on and change the game.

I'll just put my armour on- Bruno loses the ball, misplaces as many passes as Fred!
He is player of the year and contributes more to the team than any other but it simply can't be ignored: especially the last 3 month his game has not been what it was- burn out or because he has no direction/ tactical idea what is going on in the current set up.

He gives the ball away a lot because he is trying things, we had far too many seasons with our midfield playing safe, boring passes and nobody willing to ever play the killer pass, I don’t think we can complain when we have a player trying to create all the time. He hasn’t been in great form for a couple of months but players have ups and downs, he is still creating chances.

Funky, different players in different positions performing different roles.

Bruno is tasked with being the chief creator, he has to play the high risk high reward passes. As a result he has a combined 46 goals and assists for us this season.

Fred's role is as a deeper distributive midfielder. He is there to break up the oppositions play, make tackles and interceptions then once he has won the ball to pass it safely to a teammate as he will likely be in a dangerous position to lose the ball and allow the opposition to counter us.

However, he often gives the ball away when pressured. To the extent that some teams actually use Fred being on the ball as a trigger to press. He also displays poor decision making when he gets further forward often opting to shoot from range when there are other players in better positions. Despite the fact that Margret in row Z is in more danger of his shots than any opposition keeper.

Bruno's output has definitely decreased as the season has wore on. I think fatigue is the likely answer. He carries the bulk of the creative burden, he plays 90 minutes in most games, while outside of football he has had a child so will probably be getting less down time and sleep than he would have previously.

I would argue Bruno's drop off in form is more the fault of the club not having adequate rotation options and other players of similar quality in the starting 11 than it is Bruno's fault.

I wouldn't say bruno has dropped off to much in terms of form. The numbers are still insane and he is creating plenty.

GDS2 - if you reread it is not an attack on bruno but an observation, indeed the very last part of my post indicates that I think it is either over play by barely missing a minute or lack of coaching in a system apparently noone can define
SHappy - always rely on you pal, to say a 100 words when 1 will do- you eventually stated similar to my suggestion but please don't mention Fred in footballing terms lol
Caolan - his numbers are tremendous and there's no doubt we would be in a pretty poor position if they were bang average
One point I would strongly disagree with is the fact that Bruno is tasked with being the chief creator. We have 89m paid and plays as well as 40m on the bench that should accept when possible that they weren't bought to be bookends and that especially pogba should step up to the plate. Brunos nature is to roll up his metaphorical sleeves and drive but he simply cannot do it every game without someone else taking a share of the creative workload.

Gds- I never said that you claimed I was attacking BF but in fact shows the same reasoning from my original and your response that it is overplaying, over relying on the guy and a lack of assistance in terms of teammates sharing the workload and direction from the coach. it is plain to see that he hasn't been as good the last 3 months as previous- that doesn't mean he has been bad but giving the ball away as fred does so regular gets that guy slated!

@GDS2 you misread funky's post mate. He wasnt attacking Bruno, he was merely pointing out that Ole has ruined him. It was more of a Ole-bashing post than a Bruno-bashing one. Although, why would he say "I'll just put my armour on" - Funky. hmmmmmm

Expressing a slightly negative opinion is not attacking or hating anyone in 99% of cases.
I love the way people use emotive words like attacking or hating to bring a bit of hyperbole to a topic.
