Great performance today from Bruno. The way he finds space and always looks forward is so encouraging. I'd love to see him play with rashford. Our forwards will only get more confidence as they know he's looking for the runs, he really ran the show for us. What I like most is he is a leader, and he's been demanding more from his teammates.

Martial's goal was stunning, he's now got 15 goals this season. I'm very critical of martial, I don't think he's got enough desire to score the scruffy goals, but since the break he's taken his goals well and added a variety. 15 for the season, if he stays fit and continues to get the service from Bruno then I reckon he could pass the 20 goal mark. I hope martial keeps it up, more than happy to be wrong on him.

Also Mason's goal was special. His finishing is incredible, he hits the target 9 times out of 10 and every finish is so natural to him. Hopefully we see him get a few more league starts moving forward.

I'd be delighted if Martiall turns into the player he has the potential to be. He has the the talent and he's quick. If we can create enough opportunities, him and Rashford could be devastating. I do feel that our front line have had it pretty tough due to the lack of creativity from midfield.

If Rashford can get back fit for a few games this season then there would be a very good chance that both Rashford and Martial could break the 20 goal mark which considering the season we have had and the scraps that have been feeding off of for most of the season would be a great return. Especially as both will have spent at least a quarter of the season out injured each.

Good performance in a potentially tricky game. I won't get carried away by beating a team fighting relegation. Yet, this season where we have often struggled against such sides highlights just how important getting a player like Bruno has been to our side.

I do find myself sitting here asking "what if" we had signed Bruno in the summer? I think its fair to say we would be 10-15 points better off. But then where would we be had Pogba not been injured all season?

At the end of the day its all if and buts. The fact is our squad lacks quality a depth and we can't cope when we get injuries to key players. Unlike Man City who have two quality options for every position more or less.

I thought Shaw looked very good, as did Fred, Martial (on the whole), Greenwood, James and Bruno. AWB and Matic were solid. I though Lindelof and Maguire grew into the game, but they still don't look comfortable as a duo. A back three will be needed against better opposition I think.

All in all, an improving performance and a good result. This side appears to be growing in confidence and in Bruno we look like we might have a midfielder which we can build our side around.

bruno has done more in 3 games than pogba in 3 seasons. a real professional attitude.

Dodgy first half where we looked very vulnerable to the Watford press but we looked quite good in the second half. It's amazing the difference one quality player, Bruno, has made to the team. The simple fact that he is always looking forwards and trying to find runners encourages players to make those runs. Penalty conversion was so cool and calm. Great improvised finish from Martial for his goal and another beauty from greenwood again. Salivating at the thought of Rashford eventually replacing James ( zero end product as usual) on the left with Bruno supplying the ammunition for the front three. The Champions League spot is there for us to grab if we can only find some consistency. Today was a step in the right direction as it's exactly the type of 'home banker' we've been losing all season. Encouraging display. Now for more of the same over the next few weeks please.

Bruno totally destroying Jesse's season goal and assist stats and he's only played 3 games 😂🇵🇹💪.

Happy with that lineup. Would have preferred bailly over lindelof but that's just me.

Let's hope today isn't another Burnley and the players show up and put in a performance.

Not happy with the substitutions again. Ighalo for Martial was fine but, Bruno should have replaced Pereirra and later on when their defense was getting tired, we should have brought on James for Lingard and let him have a run at their defense.

Especially when Ighalo was on the pitch why not have the likes of Dalot and James put in some dangerous crosses into the box, which they are capable of.

Bruno coming in the 81st minute showed he is a class apart and had more impact than the likes of Lingard/ Pereira playing from the start.

You can't be that annoyed just because he didn't make the exact substitutes you wanted. I wouldn't have put James on, he has been poor recently, so we all have different opinions. I thought the subs gave us more control of the game and we looked better after them.

20 Feb 2020 19:24:22
We should have brought on Fernandes, fred and Bailly at half time.

We should have played the same team that played against Chelsea. Someone needs to take OGS to specsavers.

Lot of games coming up in a short period. We can't afford injuries, so we need to utilise the squad. This was a game we could afford to draw imo so I don't think it was that bad a decision.

20 Feb 2020 21:10:09
I disagree. If we had won this game comfortably, we could rest afew players in the home leg. Also we have just had 17 days off.

20 Feb 2020 23:22:27
What if we play them players and don’t win the game comfortable and pick up a couple of injuries, then you’d be saying we should have rested a few. Good away draw, could have got more, should have enough in the home leg.

21 Feb 2020 04:55:04
Agree with GDS2, we cannot take injury risk with this paper thin squad.

21 Feb 2020 06:40:59
We shouldn't play the players in matches. I agree with GDS. Playing them increases the risk of injury. They should be wrapped up and stowed up in their luxury homes on matchdays.

A 10 day break and they need rest. Ridiculous. What if we lose to Watford and all our players get injured.

21 Feb 2020 10:13:04
No way Bailly should have been played last night, played full game against Chelsea after a long time out and playing him again a few days later would have been crazy .

21 Feb 2020 11:19:53
what if we get beat 0-1 next thursday.

21 Feb 2020 11:42:09
Then we deserve to go out and we can concentrate on the league instead of playing Thursday - Sunday every week. I actually think we have a better chance of top 4/ 5 than winning the Europa league. Chelsea are poor and Spurs have no strikers and a moaning manager.

Don't expect anything less from you than misinterpreting a post to suit what you want to say, it is why i stopped really posting, seems nothing has changed.

And yet here you are reverting to everyone. Seems nothing has changed even after your break.
