If there’s ever a lowest point of being a Manchester United fan, this is it. Just imagine being the reason why Spurs cleaned their trophy cabinet!

Club is rotten to the core. From boardroom to bootroom everyone involved is incompetent.

Long way back if we had people who could make the right decisions. No way back with the people behind the scenes now.

We're done.

On another page I intimated that I feel no affinity towards the team at all. Even in the dreaded 70’s and 80’s it felt like “my“ team on the park win, lose or draw.

I cannot really feel this with any of the current squad except maybe Bruno. The rest show no passion or desire to play for the badge.

Maybe it’s a symptom of the modern game where all these clowns are paid stupid money and they don’t care if they win. Tomorrow they will be deciding the colour of their new car before playing golf.

Bunch of no hopers. They can all leave for all I care.

22 May 2025 16:44:42
Keefy it’s a symptom of 2025 that’s peoples attitudes now, no one really cares, long as they are alright.
But in the end it’s football and things can change rapidly what’s doom and gloom this season can be exact opposite next…. It’s not life or death.

22 May 2025 19:34:49
What a stupid comment. Liverpool, man city, Barcelona, bayern they all live in 2025 and have winning attitudes.

22 May 2025 00:15:50
Well that's that then. We are below rock bottom. I don't even recognise this once great club anymore. Rip.

I don't think any of us are surprised by the result tonight The players definitely tried but just are not good enough

There are some good youngsters who I hope RA integrates into the team and can sign two or three players he really wants.

Was always flip of a coin result, but if RA does stay and hopefully he does, unless Jose comes back. The good things to come out is, he don’t really want Garnacho, he don’t really want Ugarte, not sure he is convinced about Mainoo.

I would not mind all of them sold along with Rasmus, Onana, Zirkee

It’s very difficult to win a game when you have zero strike force dodgy keeper and poor CBs let alone midfield, maybe more will now take of the specs and realise basically we have Bruno and a aging Cass that’s it for the required level, the rest are very poor and basically all need replacing, but start with getting couple of strikers, a GK a CB and hopefully a proper midfielder….

Gonna struggle to attract anybody decent now.

Think it’ll be mostly wash rinse repeat next year.

22 May 2025 07:30:53
Salford mate the players aren't great but they are better than that awful performance.

Amorim is out of his depth and you lads are mad if you back him with hundreds of millions.

21 May 2025 22:40:31
What can I say that hasn't already been said. This has been a gut wrenching, painful and miserable season that I hope we never see again. So glad it's over. God knows what OT will be like on Sunday, but I can imagine the atmosphere would be better at a funeral. So much work to do this summer and so many questions to answer. Time to relax and enjoy the sun and worry again come August.

A disappointing end to the season, I’m a bit too young to have seen the side in the mid 70s so I think this is officially the worst United team that I have seen.

Where do we go next, is Amorim the right person to take us forward, even his biggest fan has to admit that he has been poor this year if you compare him with the other mid season managers, even if he was thrown in at the deep end.

The good thing is that after the Villa on the weekend and the two post season, we are desperate for money, matches next week, we don’t have to watch this team play again till mid July against Leeds, and at least that will be the kids who will be far more entertaining.

Hope everyone has an amazing summer and I look forward to watching more tortuous football next year with you all.

Ten hag was $hit but at least we would have finished mid table. The slide under amorim has been awful. If he had been in charge since the start of the season we could well hqve been relegated. Never in my darkest dreams did I think we would be this poor.

21 May 2025 22:51:58
The board have big questions to ask on him, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he walks or is pushed in the next 2-3 weeks. We shall see.

21 May 2025 23:11:52
Amorim said hexwill go with no compensation. Sounds like he's begging to be put out of his misery. But who do we get? We have to face facts that we are not a desirable club to manage or play for any more.

21 May 2025 23:30:47
Bit strange of him to say that!

21 May 2025 22:15:46
2 Europa league finals

Both times I've seen a United team scared to go for it and a manager not willing to take a risk, be decisive and make subs early enough to make a difference.

Might be an impulse reaction but I've seen nothing from Amorim that tells me he's a good manager. Dresses well, speaks with confidence but ultimately doesn't roll the dice.

As for the players, there's not a lot to say apart from bang average. We carved out a couple of good opportunities but so many happy to play side to side or take one touch too many.

Fingers crossed for a miracle over the summer but it's a long way back for our once great team.

Goals win matches and we had no real amount of goals in this team or any of our teams over past 2-3 years
It’s only Bruno and a aging Cass who are any good in this team, just look at the facts
Worst GK in League
Poorest CBs
Ugarte who could not even get a game in PSG when they had 3 forwards who did not venture back so badly needed good midfielders
Rasmus, who is useless, even though many of you praised him to the hilt and his great potential!
Garnacho, become a one trick pony who can’t hit target
Zirkee, not sure what he is
Dorgu, not very good so far
Shaw still our best LB and he is always injured so a waste of time
Mainoo not mobile enough or got the legs

Wake up and smell the coffee, some of these players some on here rave about are just notNo good and will never get us back….

22 May 2025 02:10:53
German, you're loving this. I hope you enjoy your night you troll.

21 May 2025 22:15:20
The real sickening thing is that without playing well we were the better side. Created more chances, had more of the ball, controlled the game for the most part.

Spurs had 3 shots on goal, only one on target. We had 16 shots.

We had 5 times the number of shots, the real issue this side has is scoring goals. We have zero goal threat.

It was an awful game 2 very poor sides least Spurs have an excuse they were riddled with injuries solid at the back once Ange changed formation why can't Amo switch it up i said to my mate before it be a better final if the loosing manager gets sacked i dunno if i'd be happy if the club spend big backing Amorin he's shown nxt to nothing here as bad as TH sick of these hipster niche managers shouldve went for Southgate a steady eddie for a couple of years he couldve maybe undone the mess TH left without this major money rebuild for Amos outdated style which probs won't work in a big league like England. If he gets kept hope the club give him standards to keep none of this gash excuses wev had for every failure in the dugout.

21 May 2025 22:36:15
Spurs did what they needed to do to win the match.
They defended solidly.
There’s nothing positive to take from our performance.

21 May 2025 22:15:09
Yeah I think Ken and the boys were right ETH was the problem 🙄.

21 May 2025 22:22:38
At least ETH could adapt for a final.

What a complete waste of a season.

Spurs were very poor, hardly any possession and hardly any shots. Trouble was, united were worse and never looked like scoring.

I've said before that I believe RA isn't the right guy and I was shouted down. But I truly believe he has to be shown the door in the summer.

He's not shown a glimpse of anything to give anybody hope he knows what to do and it will get better.

His team basically plays with a back 5 half the time, but has still managed to concede 62 goals in 41 games.

I agree that a lot of the players are poor, but they are better than what he's got them doing.

This is not made in post defeat anger. I'm not angry, I'm not even surprised. We've all had months of this now, it's just become the norm.

We need new players, but I don't believe giving RA £200m to spend will solve this. His system and/ or coaching doesn't work.

If the stories are true he wanted to quit in January then he definitely shouldn't still be here.

Time for RA to quit properly this time, if not, SJR needs to pull the trigger before we waste more time and money on another doomed project.
