To be honest I can’t believe more hasn’t been made of Raya’s positioning for the FK. He might as well of pointed to the gap and said “put it there mate”. FK was a good strike, but didn’t need to be anywhere near the post to go in which says it all.

All those excuses tumbleweed yet all other squads in the league share the difficulty of their important players not having a full pre season, Liverpool haven’t made a single signing with a brand new manager in place and have managed to get off to a good start.
ETH’s 3rd season now, more signings through the door and it’s the same old performances pretty much.

I’m a rival fan in peace. I have a feeling the preferred choice will be Southgate. I don’t think it should be, but suspect he might be in charge after the euros….

Why is it so inconceivable that players might be miserable under ten hag, not because he’s making them “work hard”, but because he’s a terrible man manager? He has shown blatant favouritism, alienated players like Varane, treated De Gea poorly etc.
Just like any organisation a team with low morale under a boss they dislike will not perform anything like their best.
The players didn’t stop playing for Oli or Ralf, they’re just both inept football managers. I think this same squad would perform better and give more for an inspirational manager in the mild of a ange or Klopp etc, a manager who players want to run through walls for.
Just an outsiders opinion.
