Absolute rubbish 1st half.
This defense is a shocker. can't play Kobie and Tielemans together. They can't defend space. Give them a man to mark if you want to play them together. My goodness Baleba better be ready after break. Every single time they get the ball they looked dangerous.
Why? Defenders drop of ball carrier giving them time and space. Midfielders nowhere. Shaw constantly thinks he should help Martinez instead of looking at his own player. Total shambles at the back. Thank goodness for Lammens.

If you add Amad to scoring line, they each only need to score 12 to reach 72 goals total.
Everything up front looks promising.
My worries are with the back 4.

100% correct, Shappy.
They looked like a team that's been practising together for 3 months. While our squad got together for the 1st time on Thursday night. So many incomplete passes, so many bad first touches. Nothing gelled.
Lots of hard work ahead.

Knew we were going to ship at least 2 goals when i saw dalot, yoro and dorgu as part of a back 4.
Did darren not watch the whole season.
Those 3 can't man mark, poor in positional play, let attackers run at them at will and not willing to close down crosses quicker.
Not starting harry, heaven and shaw (well he got the weekernd of) cost us.
To top it all the best 3 chances in the first 10 min fall to fumble dalot. Unbelieveble.

Justa quick question.
How long do you guys think current management would have give sir alex if he was appointed in Nov 2024? Seeing it took him from Nov 86 to May 90 to win anything.
Makes me wonder where the real trouble lies.
