Here's a thought, after we have binned off this current worthless excuse, and we hopefully install someone who knows what they are doing, can you all exercise a degree of patience and just let them sift through the crap that is the man United hierarchy and group of players. Let them have the time to create their own identity, finally flushing the club of over a decade of really poor decisions.

I know this won't happen, but for the love of god, please stop advocating for mediocrity.

The irony of this post is outstanding.

First of all, Amorim sacked himself through his results but ultimately his comments to the press.

Amorim won 15 out of 47 prem games in his time (32% win rate).

Carrick has a win rate of 68% and only has 2 less wins than Amorim in 19 prem league games.

Carrick isn't the answer, you think Amorim deserved patience, but Carrick doesn't? It's an embarrassing fantasy.

How is Amorim getting on at Milan currently? He's a man wedded to his system that doesn't appear to work anywhere except Sporting and wants to rip up squads and be given years to implement success.

I saw someone suggest via AI that Carrick benefited last season from what Amorim had done, that is complete conjecture backed up with zero evidence.

Amorim was a disaster, Carrick is heading in that direction too but not being afforded the patience you're asking from others.

Carrick is well out of his depth he should never have been given the job. didn't they tell ole no to being interim bec he was more inclined to want the job if the team performed well? And they came out "we are doing a proper search of manager" we won't make the same mistakes of hiring an interim based of the results he gets playing 1 game a week

Results might not have been good under Amorim but the standards of running and not walking were there to see, he got rid of bad eggs which carrick has allowed back to walk straight back into the team

Didn't need to take a lot to get results last season we played one game a week sat back deep in 2 banks of 4 and 2 and countered

Struggled against low blocks but we had individual brilliance that scrapped wins

The football was crap then

The football now is even worse, we are worse than when Amorim was manager and the sooner they get rid of carrick the better because he doesn't have a clue,

His starting 11 and subs are poor, ten hag and espically Amorim got blasted on here and in the media for it,

Where's all the media bias for carrick, if this was Amorim the headlines would be all over, and they would be calling for his head.

But I guess he wasn't an ex player and team mate of theirs and because he's not English so carrick can do no wrong

Now all of a sudden it's the players. Funny how it works that.

The board need to take blame also any supposedly big club who thinks building a team in stages each season is going to work needs there heads checking

They have thought "most teams have new managers, new players, are in transition, we can scrape another top 5 and don't need to improve the team.

Ridiculous to only get 3 players in.

And while carrick and those b tech coaches are here it's only going to get worse.

Luckily we don't have to sit through anymore of that crap for 3 weeks.

Trueredman, I have eyes and saw something with Amorim that has been void from this squad for a decade.

He needs patience and backing, we don't have either, so was never going to work.

Carrick needs patience backing and some coaching skills, none of which are going to happen.

Good and fair posts, JBR. I'm sick of the lazy dross being served up on the pitch, and I'm sick of how the club is owned and run. A club that I've supported for 60+ years. I'm sick of the whole damned lot of it!

We are not fit, it shows, yesterday's game was of two poor teams producing a display of mistake after mistake.

We do have some decent players but we don't run, we don't compete, we have no intensity and you can see it a mile off.

Teilemans I really thought he would be sooooo much better than I have seen, he's been very poor.

Santos, I don't know, not seen enough of him competitively, to have an opinion as yet.

No one wanting a cut price Rashford is hurting us, as we desperately needed an established striker. Personally I'd play Dorgu before him but I'm just a fan. I think most managers go for experience, especially when the going gets tough.
