The difference in the second half last night was the passion and commitment that has been missing so often this season. They were like different players, chasing, closing down, massively fired up.

We can only wonder why that has been missing so far this season but it was great to see.

Mainoo was awesome and Baleba looks full of potential, but the biggest plus for me was Lacey who surely has to get a run now.

Like most of us I was sat there thinking ' what the hell is happening', fingers crossed we start games the way we finished that one.

I feel the team lacks belief. Bruno had to score 1 penalty and they were back at it again.
Dalot and Amad have been underperforming for a while now and Carrick has to be bold.
If Lacey didn't come on, it'd have been a draw.
Dalot has been so shocking, I don't think amass could be worse.

Lacey definitely needs to be given more minutes, even if they are from the bench. Just don't leave it until the 80th, give him enough to get a feel of the game and see what he can do.
Amass, they obviously think he is not ready for it as he has been missing out even from the bench. Whether part of that is the unsettled back line and protecting him. if the rest were settled it would be easier to play him. At this point I think we will bring someone in in Jan and he is either loaned or sold.
Shame Baleba got injured and looks like it will be a significant one, thankfully Mainoo is back and will be interesting to see what combination we get against Villa.

All could change if there is a manager change over the international window. but at this point Carrick just needs to get the team motivated and be brave.

Dalot and amad are big problems in the team but most likely both will start Sunday.

I have been one of Dalot's biggest critics but I'll give him credit where credit due, if the rest of the team showed as much commitment as him, I don't think we'd be in this position. Sadly for Dalot, he's just not good enough IMO.

Bit of a Fred is Dalot. But if everyone else had the energy and commitment we'd be amazing.
