Safe to say United's decision on any matter is the most sluggished and horrible one If I may asked.

Selling the club. Takes a million years
Selling a player. Sluggish and horrible
Buying a player. Sluggish and monitoring
Making a decision on any issues are once in a lifetime. They don't seems to change positively in anything.

So, gone are the days when David Gill and Sir Alex Ferguson used to take quick decisions in any issues emanating from the club even when it seems irrational to the fans then. Their decision were always brilliant. The people we have in United's board today were all with manual brains cell. Instead of automatic ?.

Yeah, Fergie never dragged a transfer out did he, nor did he ever buy any flops.

Seriously, we know the way the club is run needs improving but your description is way over the top. Last year, our signings were awesome, some people have very short memories. This year, the window has just opened.

The window is barely open. SAF for all his greatness and what he achieved with the club he left us proper shoddy and it must be remembered he was very much in bed with the Glazers. Fergie is no angel.

Takeovers can take years.

Selling the club. Takes time - buyers and procurement timelines dictate how long.
Buying a player. Clearly with Utd interested, the process slows and the value rises.
Selling a player. Utd tend to pay over the odds - hence the consequence is that we struggle to get a club willing to pay the fair price when we sell.
Making a decision: All the noise about us being slow to do business - have a look at what business we do (or don't) do in June - so July is a better time period to consider. 6 days in and we've bought a young experienced midfielder and hopefully will resolve the goalkeeper and striker positions too. We might be lining up buys with the understanding that the completion depends on a sale or two.

1st week in July and we’ve signed mount and are making progress on hoijland and Onana if reports are to be believed.

That’s not bad.

{Ed077's Note - Get Hojlund done ASAP.

Out of curiosity, since the financial outlay looks to be similar for both Onana and Raya, who would people prefer between them two?}

Raya just not Unnanananna.

Onana has worked with Ten Hag before so less of an unknown quantity, he knows what he is getting so happy he is going for him.

Mount, Onana, Hojlund seems like a good off season, strong spine to the team with Licha, Casemiro, Bruno and a plethora of wingers. Hopefully we can improve the squad as the bench did look a bit thin at times last year.

How about this Greenwood business, that has been lurking on and on and on. Even though the ins work out alright for ten haag the rest of the decisions are shocking, it takes a guy to go on tv and slam the club so he can get out otherwise Glazers wouldn’t allow such an asset to leave.

Its draaaining.

Don't think Raya is that good neither is Onana.

Ed077,

Whats your preference?

I've not really seen either play.

{Ed077's Note - I'm no expert on either but to me if £40m or thereabouts is going to be the outlay on either; then Raya provides a better package with him being homegrown and Prem proven.

Whichever one ten hag wants Ed, can’t imagine their being too much of a gap in valuation on them.

{Ed077's Note - I can get on board that. Like I was telling Ed001 I don't think there is anyone better placed to judge Onana than EtH. EtH should know Onana's game inside out. So of he wants him then I've full support of that decision.

Unburdened, that's one of the worst takes on AJH I’ve ever seen, your post OP is literally just moaning for the sake of moaning, AJH just pointed out why you are wrong.

Have you seen Højlund play, Ed?

{Ed077's Note - not much. He looks raw but very talented. Apparently he grew up supporting Man Utd and seems keen to join should the opportunity arise so I'm happy to see him join for a decent fee
