I see Evans looks set to leave with clubs such as Stoke and Spurs showing interest although Evans has stated Everton to be his preference.does this indicate a possible exchange with Stones coming to us with fee as well to Everton.

Would be great to get this kid under the noses of Mourinho and the Chelski contigent . ?.

I hope I'm not the only person who would like to keep Evans. Yes I'd like Stones too but Evans was fantastic for a while. More so with Rio and Vidic but he showed real talent and ability I think he still has that he may just need to focus or work harder or something but he's a home grown lad and has real good potential and the last thing we need after last season is to be letting defenders go.

2.) 21 Aug 2015 18:43:14
RedKen you may be in the minority of one. Evans has had 7 full seasons in the first team (2008/09-2014/15) and is now consistently a liability. Yes he had one good season but 'potential' has passed and we'd do well to cash in on him and let other home-grown talents like McNair and Blackett take up the challenge

3.) 21 Aug 2015 19:48:52
Agreed! Jonny Evans should be moved on and I think we should at least try to include Stones in the deal?

If Stones has already decided he wants to move to Chelski then Aymeric Laporte is someone who we should use a lot of effort to bring in, despite his hefty fee!

Antione Griezmann personally I think is a MUST, and a striker for next year?

4.) 21 Aug 2015 19:53:26
I don't know about Evans being included in a deal for Stones but I'd take a straight swap for a shiny pebble right now based upon last few seasons

5.) 21 Aug 2015 23:20:25
Evans needs to move on unfortunately

6.) 22 Aug 2015 07:06:38
Redkane. Errrr mate don't u think at 27 , talking of potential is nonsence?? He is liability, mostly injured, and always fearful in going for tackles.
Never seems confident as a center back

7.) 22 Aug 2015 08:51:15
Evans hasn't been as bad for us as some make out. He seems to need a run in the team to build his confidence and then plays pretty well - but he's a nerveous wreck each time he starts his run in the side. The problem for him is that he isn't at a level where he deserves an extended run in the side - he'd be OK as back-up - so he'll always look ropy. He'll do really well at a lower side.

To be honest, I think the spitting and subsequent lying has done for him as much as anything else. You'd certainly rather he was in the side at centre back than Jones at this moment in time, for example. But it is time for him to move on.

Biggest transfer this Summer will be announced shortly, perhaps even tonight. United asking for cash and Lewandowski in exchange for Di Maria.

Don't reckon that will happen especially since Bayern have said that no more of their big names are leaving.

2.) 13 Jul 2015 20:12:16
Please be true!👆

3.) 13 Jul 2015 20:22:43
What other wide player would we go for to replace ADM? Bale? Pedro? Reus? Who would any of you prefer?

4.) 13 Jul 2015 21:16:25
It's Bale. Not Muller.

5.) 14 Jul 2015 12:23:49
Guys as you all know I do generally HATE Cavani, I'd like to see ADM GO TO PSG, but with the money we get for him Greizmann would be be awesome! We'd ALL like Bale, but too pricey and then De Gea comes into the equation? Now, if that were to come into fruition the French connection with Schneiderlin etc then Greizmann could then Lacazette be our new striker? Fingers crossed? ( oh to live in Ronnies world ) hahaha!

6.) 14 Jul 2015 18:49:50
I hope we get cavani just to annoy you Ronnie!

7.) 15 Jul 2015 08:00:39
GDS2, do I feel some love going on for me there! 😘 Let's face it, Cavani is older than other strikers I would have liked? Berardi or Icardi? Rather throw the kinda money that's being touted for Cavani on these fellas!

Apparently Ramos was really cheesed off with Madrid when they never dismissed a cheeky bid from Barca which was the ultimate betrayal. He has spoken with his advisors, he definately wants out and he insists negotiations must only take place with united. Everton have contacted Woodward over a loan deal for Janazai but woodward won't accommodate unless they accept our bid for Seamus Coleman.

{Ed001's Note - his advisors? You mean his brother?}

No point in arguing over whether he's too old and all that. You need to worry how much the shirt is going to cost with his surname. lol

What we do have over Chelski is cash plus 2 or 3 proven premier league central defenders to exchange. the boy doesn't have to upsticks residentially and noticed that he did waive goodbye to Everton fans last night. This would be a tremendous purchase, Smalling and Stones could develop together long term and also intergrate to be Englands central defenders too.

Looks like it doesn't Eric the Red .just deploying Ramos tactics I think and United appear to be the obvious choice for players to play off against their current employers.p.s If Memphis continues to play like last night then I guarantee Real Madrid will come sniffing within 2 seasons !!!.same old, same old.

You know what Robbie.you may have a good shout there !!!!.LVG told Sky Sports United are in talks with a striker but not anybody that the media has reported on so far. he's Dutch and coming to the end of a lustrious career playing at the top. worth a punt on this rumour.

Hernandez will stay as back up to Rooney. Can't see united strengthening up front and what top striker would be lured to sitting on the bench. Noted RVP comments about Rooney set in stone up front and I'm sure strikers around the world know score. REMEMBER we got Wilson and Fellaini who can fit the role too.
