Guys I'm going to give this a break for a bit. I'm starting to ruin other peoples legitimate posts, with people getting carried away and jumping on whatever I say sometimes with good reason and more recently with people imagining things I am saying, which in turn loses the message of the original poster. Mrs Beast is also not enjoying seeing her husband getting increasingly wound up by people I don't even know, but I have enjoyed spending my time reading their views in the main.

I'm more than up for a debate, but it's not fair for the majority of posts I comment on to turn in to a Beast fest and lose the original message. I'm not going to change my views just because people have their own blinkered outlook on everything Man Utd and LVG. I'm pleased we are winning obviously, but I wish some people would take a step back at times and be prepared to see problems in how the machine is built, even if the product ultimately does work now and again. LVG is not this all knowing God like some of you so desperately want to believe, maybe the Greek God of Hypocrites, but I'm confident you will eventually arrive at that conclusion without me ramming the contradictions home every week!

Thanks for all of your insights and to those of you that have supported my unpopular views, also those of you that have provided intelligent arguments to those views.

Maybe I'll post again in a few months, but its time for a break. The Beast has been caged.

Merry Xmas to you all by the way.

Beast

I have taken stick on here for my views, Berbatov, Nani and Moyes most notably. Whilst I disagree strongly with your views on LvG the site needs differing opinions so I would hope you will reconsider.
LvG is not likely to be the long term manager, my guess he will build it for another younger version to take over and if you saw our style yesterday I can hazard a guess at who it may suit best.
Hope you keep posting

Ride the wave mate, I did after getting a lot of stick everyday. Posters on here always find a scapegoat whether it be a regular poster, Tom Cleverley or Jonny Evans.

What your posts seems to ignore is the fact that we are coming out of a right hole at the minute so its going to take an awful lot of hard graft and patience to get where we need to be. Perhaps just back the team a little then bring these things up in Jan Or even May if they are still issues?

We had an ageing squad, a massive overhaul of players, the transition brought about by changing managers twice in 1 season, the 7th place finish last season, the poor football we were playing, the lack of confidence and morale. I could keep going. I think a lot of posters appreciate the improvement on these points so far and appreciate that its not going to change over night. You seem to see what we haven't achieved rather than what we have. It was always going to be a 2/3 season process but you seem happy to write off the manager after a few months. It makes little sense to me when it was always going to take time.

I disagree with your stance on youngsters. Lvg will give them chances as he sees fit (he is well known for it don't ya know) but he'd be stupid to play 18/19 yr olds week in week out. how many top teams play a number of kids every week? They will get chances and over the next couple of seasons will play more regularly, its just good youth management Imo - look at how Sterling is suffering due to playing too much and being relied upon at such a young age. I'd rather we were more patient with Januzaj etc.

This post is not intended to slag you off. In fact I think you're a good poster and will be missed if you leave. But you do tend to jump on Lvg at every chance and fail to give him any benefit of the doubt. Sometimes we just need to have faith that things are improving and most of the finer details that need ironing out will get sorted along the way. It won't be perfect, won't be instant but we will keep improving and its going to be a fun process to be part of.

Hope you don't take a break Beast but if you do have a good crimbo and happy new year, and look forward to hearing from you when we're back at the top and you're a little more satisfied 😏

A Beast Fest! Sounds interesting. Seriously, don't sweat it, I agree with some of your views, I disagree with some. Like it not some posters will get personal if they disagree. It's really not worth getting wound up about. Someone compared you to KLOOT
which was ridiculous, says more about them than you. Fresh has been given a hard time, GDS has also been harangued, I've had the odd spat but that's what I like about this site; we all see different things and that's what makes it interesting.

5.) 30 Nov 2014
Beast sorry if I ws a bit over the top mate. Was uncalled for. Do consider leaving again. your opinion, what ever it may b adds to the site. And lastly "beasts" aren't supposed to walk away that easily mate :P

Beast.
Ajh hits the nail on the head

7.) 30 Nov 2014
Appreciate the comments boys, I'll keep reading, but a break will do everyone good I think. The Mrs is delighted which is the most important thing, haha. Thanks again.

8.) 30 Nov 2014
Beast please don't take things to heart, to be fair no one knows each other on this site. We just have one common thing which is that we love manchester united, So keep on posting as I may not agree on the things u post but you always start a good debate or atleast something interesting to read.

Beast,

Up to you if you want to leave for a while, but you must realise that if you post things that are controversial and disagree with most peoples opinion then a lot of people are going to argue with you.

I couldn't put it any better than honeybadger to be honest, I agree with everything in his post. You decided after 7 games of LVG taking over a very tricky job that he should be sacked, and despite the evidence proving that things are improving (two defeats since August in games we could have won, coming out of the tough run you said we would fail in and still being top 4, beating arsenal, starting to control games against weaker times like we used to) you still continue to suggest LVG doesn't know what he is doing.

Surely backing the boss like every one of the 70000 in the stadium would be the best thing to do, if he fails then let's analyse him then, but at the moment he is certainly not failing.

I have said many times that nothing I ever say to you is personal, so I hope you haven't taken anything that way.

So you are not going to post because the wife is getting annoyed eh?

Whipped!

11.) 30 Nov 2014
If people had the same opinion as every body else this would be a very boring site post your thoughts beast

{Ed004's Note - 100% agree}

12.) 30 Nov 2014
Beast. There are a lot worse things in life than being criticised about football views. We all have to keep a level view on this. We love this team and club. Its in our dna. And you are fully entitled to your views. So because some disagree, it doesn't mean they're attacking you.
i happen to think that lvg is a super manager and his record speaks for itself. Just think about it for a moment, we have had 42 injuries in 3 months. I don't care what anyone views are but any team would suffer badly if they had the same injuries. We've not been able to field a settled team. If Chelsea had Terry cahil and hazard out, then costa and fabregas will they still be winning games like they are? Of course nit.
So let's give the manager a chance and see where we are at the end of season, i know lvg personally and he's got the right credentials and mentality to handle this job. So let's not shoot him just yet!
Keep posting, the fact that people are replying, means they're interested in what you're saying!

13.) 30 Nov 2014
Keep posting beast

Beast I love reading your ideas on everything as there kinda out there lol, like you say a break can be good but don't keep quiet to long

15.) 01 Dec 2014
Apologies as I do not have a polite way of saying this but anyone who can constantly criticise the manager and players (unfairly in my book) then needs to have enough about them to stand their ground and take some criticism from fellow posters rather than run home acting like a victim in what is ultimately a banter site. I even read beast say something about how the managers at fault for his fantasy team not doing well!! For the posters who are asking him to reconsider fair play to you but surely that respect should go both ways give and take not just give then run

16.) 01 Dec 2014
Wow . didn't know this site had so many "posters" as opposed to just members. It took beasts sabbatical for me to see some names, could also be because I am relatively new here.
I also hope u reconsider your hiatus. I must say there are few members here whose posts, comments and replies i look forward to the most and actually scroll down to their names . u being one of them.
That being said, I respect your decision and look forward to your return.
Merry Xmas and Happy new yr to u and the Family!

17.) 01 Dec 2014
Coma back soon. You're the only person on this site who I find myself agreeing with!
